I'm thinking of ordering a kit from AFI for my stock FJ60 and I plan to keep my stock dizzy, but what would I do to all the vacuum lines since it hasn't been desmogged?

Also, if I got a dizzy from a 62 would that allow for ECM control, and would it have to be tweaked?

I’m out on this one. Never installed an AFI. Maybe @FJ60Cam has some idea???

Installed a new set of Trail Tailors apron seals today! Super clean looking and an easy upgrade.

Back to the Sniper install. I'm ALMOST THERE... Asking elsewhere but I need to know which of the hardlines off the top of the fuel tank is feed and which is return...

I cut mine off because I did in tank pump, but @s0me0ldt0ys just had a few rounds with these and might can remember.

Jesus. I just finished my Sniper. The lines gave me issues because previous owner of my 60 had already cut the lines and installed an electric pump under the hood, however..he used the return line to feed it. This have me fits.

Love love love my EFI Sniper. Amazingly happy I read this thread...ty @Dustin Messina and I'm 10000%[certain I'll thank you even more once cold weather hits!!! Wooooooooooooooo

So the good news is I have the feed line hooked up to the electric pump properly* (*edit: NOT properly. See my follow up post later in this thread) Filter - pump - Corvette filter/regulator are all in the correct orientation, pump sounds like it is spooling up when turning on the key. Sniper initial set-up has been successfully uploaded.
The bad news is I am not getting fuel to the Sniper when I crank to start. I disconnected the line at the Sniper and attempted to start, no fuel shooting out of the line as I would have expected. (There was gas in the return line when I pulled it off when starting to consider I had the feed/return reversed so I THINK this means the pump was trying to push fuel but the filter/regulator encountered pressure in the line so fed fuel back towards the tank)

Next up, baring any other suggestions, is to work back towards the pump: pull the line coming out of the Corvette filter/regulator to see if there might be blockage in the line u to the Sniper.

CONFESSION TIME (and those of you that know "Ragman" can appreciate this). I stuffed a small piece of shop rag into the filter/regulator output when I was mounting the unit onto the framerail to keep crap from getting in there. It MIGHT have remained in there when I pushed the fuel line onto the barb fitting... I kinda hope this is that simple to fix. DOH!
