thank you for putting this together i wish i had found this first but my research lead me to the sniper as a best option for my 60.
question is desmogging absolutely necessary?

joe

Im wondering this as well. im currently Desmogged but Colorado may adopt state wide Emissions :( I also just installed headers and apparently adding a CAT if necessary, wont be an issue.

Interesting question. Im assuming as long as you get all the vacuum hooked back up you could technically keep it but why?
are you suggesting that with an EFI conversion...emissions wont be an issue??? pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee let that be true!!

Why did you decide the PowerSurge PS500 - PN 4002 would be too small?
just went with what was recommended....wasnt gnna find out on my own for $50

If your state does tail pipe testing I would think the EFI would pass with flying colors compared to all the spaghetti BS on a 30+ year old carbureted truck

this would be INCREDIBLE!!!!! Makes switching to EFI even MORE valuable!

What’s the purpose of hand throttles, if there’s no pto accessories? Or do you have other plans?

Side note no idea how to lengthen or extend. My only though would be to treat like the universal cables. Cut cable and sheath then run the little threaded barrel on the end.

In short I really just want one and can, ha! If you ever really needed to winch you can set you RPMs higher etc with out being on the pedal. Also, I've heard of some people using it as an "old school" cruise control, but I am not sure about that. I have a space hole in the dash....why not plug it?? @maxbob002

Dudddddde...where'd ya get that center console??? Sweet AF!

I love the console and the cushion is by far the best part! I leave my arm on it while I drive. Big improvement over the stock setup, but I think you can adapt a few other consoles too.

I use my hand throttle to help keep the carb fed when I'm "nose up" on a super steep climb... Shouldn't be an issue with the Holley!
Nope no issue at all. I just want one....

@Kalino_74 a lot of new talk on fuel delivery for you.

I have no idea if you would "need" to desmog, but I am with @wngrog why wouldn't you? Get rid of that mess under the hood!

That pump looks right. Make sure you get the fittings you want for the inlet & outlet, and bracket (usually cheaper in kit form). The corvette filter replaces the big filter, so you don’t need that.

You can buy a 20’ roll of the 3/8 Earl’s Vapor Guard Hose, which seems to be the Gates Barricade but at a better price, and have some left over.

Here’s a kit with all the pieces. You can probably find the individual parts in the LS swap threads and maybe get it cheaper. Don’t forget you need AN fittings on either side of these. It starts to add up.

AN fittings to go hose to stock hard lines.... right? So 3 total?

I would run new 3/8 from the Filter/regulator to the Sniper
