I'm a big fan of HVLP turbines.

Turbine HVLP vs Compressor HVLP

They appear expensive until you realize you don't need any of the expensive support equipment of conventional spray guns.

Most folks who learned conventional painting have problems learning their idiosyncrasies, but once you learn how to thin the paint correctly and how to apply paint using the HVLP turbine, you would love it.

Very little to no overspray and uses only about 1/3d the paint.

Looks like it would come in real handy for just painting!!

But I needed/wanted a compressor, "another tool" in my arsenal. Sand blasting, impacts, paint... tires....

You can never have enough tools!!! hahaha

Finally got my compressor plumb for air.

20 ft of 3/4 copper
25 ft of 1/2 copper
numerous tee's, couplings, elbows, unions, valves

Plumbed in three water traps, filter system, one air hose quick connect and one air hose reel.

Ahhhhh, such a beautiful day.... to work on my rig!! Haha!.

Yes, finally back to making some progress.

My running boards are in good shape so I decided to keep them. But one major problem was this piece of channel was rusted through and of course all the bolts broke off when I took it off.

So I decided I would just repair them instead of getting new ones.

Here's is the rust issue....Hmm all the way through.. must replace.

That's my man!

Please consider this training for future Cruisers...

Started working on my Scat Sand Blasting cannot today.

It needed new glas, probably a new gun and some more odds and ends.

I call TPTools and Equipment, talked to Jim, they are real good people!!

I would post their website, but I don't know how on my phone.
