Other than the two spots on the floorboard near the second row that will have metal replaced and repainted, here’s the worst of the rust.

That's passenger side cowl above the door hinge, about the bottom of the windshield height.

Plus the bit that @RUSH55 spotted under the drip rail over the passenger side front door.

Verdict: not going to break into this. Probably neutralize and re-encapsulate with seam sealer under the drip rail.

Just neutralize on the cowl.

Might be able to brush touchup some por15 white in small areas. Just dont want it to look worse when its spotted in.

It’s patina, can’t start down the path of chasing little imperfections or it will never stop.

OEM NLA. Next best option.

plan is to pull the existing drivetrain (fan to transfer case, carb to exhaust) intact, and then send the pig for a dry ice blast to clean the accumulated crud from the engine bay and everything underneath.

Bunch of things (fuel tank, ...) in front of the replacement though.

OEM readily available from Toyota.

Damn. When I checked the yota dealer in Denver it said NA.

Next time I come to you.
We keep those mounts in stock at all times.

where did you get the springs? New a front and rear set without cutting and welding.

Drivetrain pulled. Ran the AC before disassembly. Blows nice and cold.

Radiator in good shape, condenser might need replaced. DS motor mount was separated.

Rear pinion seal is leaking, but it’s getting new thirds with ARB lockers anyway.

No big surprises or red flags.

Goes to the dry ice blast guy in a bit over a week. Then back for rust repair, and trans tunnel mods (extra room at the gas pedal), rebuild axles and steering, then back to the ice blast guy for coating.

Mosley 4.4L 2F is inbound this week H55F is on site. Split case is at Vally Hybrids having a PB added.

Upholstery shop ordered the materials week ago Friday. The carpet is in, looks good. Darker than the sample.

Windshield is in at the glass guy’s shop, he will install at the upholstery shop when they do the headliner.

Thanks to @ginericLC who showed up to help.
