Is this the return of Beno? .... you just couldn't stay away :)

Nah. But I do like helping my friends when they want a no BS experience and someone who knows what they are talking about. :)

That’s still worth something to some people: expertise.

@Onur invaluable assistance! @wngrog has been sending me sneak peaks at some work that has been done recently. Looking good.

Holy crap I have a lot of stuff here.

My ADHD went nuts sorting this stuff and deciding which direction to go.

I have to stick with the engine area and take advantage of all the room to work with the radiator out.

I took inventory then returned to the Redline kit.

A tittle morning update.
Started putting all the powder coated parts back in. I had one motor mount and I installed it and the other one was completely broken in 1/2 when I lifted the motor up.

Did a cold valve adjustment and added the OEM gaskets from Beno and sealed that end up.

New stainless hardware from Overland Metric all around

New felt radiator pads from @Cruiser Corps

New overflow and washer bottle was purchased via @Racer65

Looks great. Can I send you my 67?

The second half of the morning was extremely gratifying

I cleaned up the horns by letting them soak a few days in Fluid Film. They look new now.

Then I cracked open the beautiful OEM radiator from the-parts-guy-formerly-known-as-Beno

What a work of art and truly, what a difference it makes to have restoration grade powder on all this stuff. Super hard. No cracking. It’s just beautiful with the stainless.

You're having too much fun - I'M JEALOUS!

Got on the grill. Although you pretty much can’t see back there I figured it needed a CLR bath and some fluid film for the cracks and crevices.

I put it back on with new Koito H4 bulbs and new bezel spacers from Cruiser Corps. Hood pads too.

Also hit the front and back with a coat of wax before the bezel went back on.

Stainless bolts where needed and reused the OE painted bolts as I could.

The Powder coated grill is clutch. I love it.

Sorry another question what bumper is that?

@TRAIL TAILOR made the bumper.

The lights are a kit Toyota sells. Dealer can get them. I’ve seen prices from $36 to $180 for the set depending on who is robbing you.

You just need one as the kit has 2 lights and the wiring harness

89nolder...

when is the first 70 series going to come out of that shop?

I don’t know. I’d have to thin the herd to have one myself and I like all the trucks I currently have. I’d like an FZJ75 hard top but it would have to be special since most all South American trucks are hammered to hell and bondo queens.

Put the air cleaner in. Just had to. It’s not ready for all that but I needed to see it with that sweet City Racer hose

@Fourrunner provided the HD battery Cable kit and covers. Very nicely setup. John bought a great battery. I love the side posts for hooking up the Sniper.
