Wow! That is coming out really really nice!
Good Job.

I did not know that "STYLE: Sport Utility" was such an old term. What was a 1979 SUV?

So, I wonder what their difference between Sport Wagon and Sport Utility was? And which one became our "modern" SUV?

The card is worth preserving more than I’m worried about the winch not working!

Scan the card, print it out on cardstock, and send it in!

Are you creating a book to document the build?
It would be a nice addition.

Man, all this work effort and money spent on this thing and it has a bolt on tailgate. I can see that getting obnoxious quick not having simple access to the back of the tub. Awesome work @wngrog and @jomelo , thanks for sharing this build in such great detail.

The top is never on so it’s not much of an issue. At least it’s a properly stamped tailgate versus a flat metal one.

Holy hell how lazy must one be to be inconvenienced simply by having to reach into the tub.

Got on lots of cool stuff today.

Finally got the hinge back and stabbed the grill. Beautiful.

Next I got the heater in and the final hoses done so I can add my coolant

When I got the grill on the hood was a bit out of alignment so I went ahead and peeled the OE gaskets off and added some new and got it all lined up

@wngrog Can I ask where you got that clever bolt combo for the alternator / alternator bracket, or what it's called?

This? It’s OEM Toyota for a passenger side alternator

Any results with merging the 40 and 70 parking brake cables yet? Definitely looking forward to hearing how well the dash pull can leverage the rear drums.
