Thanks for reminding me about this Jeff. One more thing to add to the OCD list for version 2.0.Web page now shows estimated sales price of $140-160k. I hope it sells that high. But, the claim that it's exact in every detail irritates me. Especially the part where it says they used two 1967 FJ40's for correct hardware and clamps. Look at the rad hose clamps on this thing. Hardware store clamps. You can still buy the original style clamps (but Phillips head) at the dealer. I can count at least a dozen things (albeit minor) that are not "exact in every detail"
The sad thing is that the people that spend $150k on a cruiser don't know enough about them to realize the seller is full of crap.

Came across this last night. How I Sold a Toyota Land Cruiser for Nearly $200,000 and Lost Money
my story will be the same when I sell the swb. But the zen of building it was priceless.
Says in the article he had MOLDS made for the rubber. There is enough of a market to sell those reproduced to SOR or someone and recoup some money.Came across this last night. How I Sold a Toyota Land Cruiser for Nearly $200,000 and Lost Money

You can get all the weather strip through various vendors already. No need to have it "made".
