My leather has worn through and I'd like to replace it and match OEM look and feel. I've searched Ebay and there's hotboy replacements, but nothing OEM. Searching the forum has returned little results. Anyone have experience using an auto customizer shop? Know a company making replacements?

Pulled from 1983 FJ60. Worked great no noises. Thought it was leaking but ended up being the low pressure line. Pulled to swap to Saginaw. 190k miles unknown if original. Recommend rebuild prior to install since age unknown. Make reasonable offer via text 6027699800 Jeff

The shaft in my '88 hj61 steering gear box has 4 teeth. I'm being told by the rebuild shop that the replacement shaft with the same PN 44111-60040 has 3 teeth. Anyone ever heard of this? The same part number but different number of teeth on the shaft? How many teeth on a 61/62 sector shaft?

is this a similar process for the fj40.

I have owned an 03GX470 for a long time (years). It has around 300k miles. The steering is tight, the suspension is tight. It is totally stock and no replacement of any suspension parts (though I have done ball joints, etc.). But... I bought an 04, and it drives like an old pickup truck...
