I have a set of 80 series rocky road outfitter sliders for sale. Had them on my 1996 fzj80, bought them about 7 years ago. They fit nice and tight, but opted to go the metal tech route, they are local for me and I wanted a bigger kick out. They retail for $639, I am looking for $300. They are...
It took a couple of months of being on the waiting list, but they finally came this Friday. This is absolutely a DIY job - but it wasn't without challenges. Also, be warned: this is dirty job. My truck had probably 3-4 pounds of mud underneath. I can still taste dirt.
My hope is that this...

Hi all,
I'm looking to buy stock 3rd gen running boards in good condition (SR5, but I think Limited will work as well). This is mainly to protect the rocker panels from rocks, salt, etc. My first 4Runner is really suffering in that area and I don't want this to happen to the other one.
Will...
I checked the side steps, and it seems that the upper part acts as a seal for water ingress. This is the reason why many people cut their steps instead of removing them. I am wondering, if I trim the steps, can I attach sliders without removing them? I do not want to lose the water proofing...

Greetings. 1995 FZJ80. Finally found some time for my White Knuckle Slider install.
Remarkably smooth so far. Decided to do the passenger side first, as working around the catalytic converters is a little tricky.
I’m really impressed with the precision of the design. They line up perfectly...
Just got my “PolarBear” back from TorFab after hibernation with roughly 3” lift with the upper control arms and BP-51 and Budbuilt beefy .120 DOM and 3/8” thick steel rock sliders that is powder coated and aluminum armor plating stage 4 (front, engine, and transfer case).

I built these nearly 15 years ago and ran them for the entire time. I recently removed them to do some some rocker panel rust repair and have decided to go another route so I'm letting these go.
They were based on George's bolt on slider plans but edited slightly with 3/16" steel 2"x4" main...
Hey everyone, I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a set of sliders to take advantage of black Friday sales. Does anyone have experience with SSO's weld-on sliders? I did a few google searches and can't come up with many pictures or info on the current sliders outside of what's on SSO's...
I've owned this truck for the last 7 1/2 years. She runs great, but may need some body rust taken care of, depending on where you live. Unfortunately I need a truck that can haul some heavier loads, and I need to let this one go.

I recently bought a 1997 Land Cruiser 40th Anniversary Ed. I'm slowly but surely getting her ready for the trail...Any recommendations for sliders for a 1997 FZJ80 a.k.a. Lana?
I know Slee Offroad makes a great product, but if there's other armor out there that's as good in quality but lower...
