Hi all,
I'm looking to buy stock 3rd gen running boards in good condition (SR5, but I think Limited will work as well). This is mainly to protect the rocker panels from rocks, salt, etc. My first 4Runner is really suffering in that area and I don't want this to happen to the other one.
Will...
I checked the side steps, and it seems that the upper part acts as a seal for water ingress. This is the reason why many people cut their steps instead of removing them. I am wondering, if I trim the steps, can I attach sliders without removing them? I do not want to lose the water proofing...
I live in redding Ca and am looking for a used (on a tight budget) arb winch bumper, sliders, roof rack, etc for building my 1993 fzj80
My number is 53O 6O4 659I

So I've been on mud a while, learning and posting when I can help. Done a few mods to my cruiser but hadn't started a build thread yet. Getting to the point where I am going to start progressing faster so think it's time.
Goal of the rig is to have a capable wheeler that I can drive to the...
Greetings. 1995 FZJ80. Finally found some time for my White Knuckle Slider install.
Remarkably smooth so far. Decided to do the passenger side first, as working around the catalytic converters is a little tricky.
I’m really impressed with the precision of the design. They line up perfectly...
Just got my “PolarBear” back from TorFab after hibernation with roughly 3” lift with the upper control arms and BP-51 and Budbuilt beefy .120 DOM and 3/8” thick steel rock sliders that is powder coated and aluminum armor plating stage 4 (front, engine, and transfer case).
Next, rock warriors...
I built these nearly 15 years ago and ran them for the entire time. I recently removed them to do some some rocker panel rust repair and have decided to go another route so I'm letting these go.
They were based on George's bolt on slider plans but edited slightly with 3/16" steel 2"x4" main...
Hey everyone, I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a set of sliders to take advantage of black Friday sales. Does anyone have experience with SSO's weld-on sliders? I did a few google searches and can't come up with many pictures or info on the current sliders outside of what's on SSO's...
I've owned this truck for the last 7 1/2 years. She runs great, but may need some body rust taken care of, depending on where you live. Unfortunately I need a truck that can haul some heavier loads, and I need to let this one go.

Selling a set of Cruisin' Offroad sliders for a FZJ80 (passenger side cats). They are great sliders but i need steps for the .
$650. No side kick outs. Blasted and primed, not painted. Only installed a few weeks. I will ship on the buyer's dime.
I recently bought a 1997 Land Cruiser 40th Anniversary Ed. I'm slowly but surely getting her ready for the trail...Any recommendations for sliders for a 1997 FZJ80 a.k.a. Lana?
I know Slee Offroad makes a great product, but if there's other armor out there that's as good in quality but lower...
Folks, I'm looking for some OEM running boards for an HDJ81, best condition I can find.
I'm sure many of y'all are running sliders -- if you'd be willing to part with your running boards, please let me know.
Looking for shipped to / or pickup in Central Texas.
Thanks!
Thought I'd post this to the general 80's page from our Keystone Cruisers page. The difference from the others is the mounting system, no random U bolt's. The sliders come with a bracket that slides over your frame, the bracket is actually welded on and part of the slider it's self, so VERY...
I've been researching sliders this past week and would like to get some new information from the 100 community.
Pop out sliders or not? I've settled on tube sliders not steps. There are a few references to reasons for pop out vs. not but I couldn't find a thread for it plus with more time...
Built this system about two years ago for our big drive around the world. Well, we did the trip and learned some things along the way. We ended up driving from California down to South American and then from Korea to the UK. We are currently near London and would like to sell the complete...
So I'm now debating fabbing my own sliders based on the simplicity of the project vs. relative cost. I've built bumpers before, winch plates, headache racks and a few other items so I'm pretty comfortable with my Hobart.
I was taught that the gauge of steel should never exceed that of the...
