Greetings Some countries in Europe are now requiring diesel particulate filters to enter cities or Euro 4+ norms to be met. Is it possible to 'add on' a DPF and not screw up an amazing truck? Or does anyone know a work-around? Many thanks

Serious question time... My 80 is about 350 km off clocking 700 k km's still with original 1hz motor from factory. I know it will need the valve shims done plus the usually 100 k km stuff of replacement t-belt, tensioner, water pump and t-stat to make it viable for the next 100 k km's of life...

It looks like most people are using various GM 6.5L engines and an NV4500 transfer case. Is this just a cost issue? An R2.8L is a $10K crate motor so not cheap but, it looks like it may be a good match at 161HP and various torque numbers depending on final install specifics. Best Regards, Sid
