I have a cheap DC flux core only welder and minimal experience welding.
I am trying to weld solid copper wire (electrical ground wire) tied around a 19mm nut. I would like to snake the wire + nut inside an access hole in my frame so I can thread in a bolt from the outside. The problem is I...
I'm trying to "break"/loosen the 14mm bolt/line from the Filter itself (19mm). Its on there good, and with lots of other lines in the area, I'm afraid to put too much force and cause the wrench to slip, or even worse, damage one of the rubber lines running close by.
I'm afraid to put a little...
Ok so I’m replacing my shocks and the fronts are easy obviously, and I came to the back 2 and found this. Curious how it’s supposed to be or how people generally have it.
I have a bolt that goes through and is super hard to get to. Tried to just unscrew the outside bolt but it just turned so...
I'm currently putting together a good intake and exhaust for my 40 in prep for a efi upgrade. But I got to the egr port and the bolt holes are really bad and I'm unsure how to fix them. I really don't want to replace the horn or even take them off. So I got to fix the issues.
I pulled my rear diff lock motor and I mangled the heads of two of the Elocker motor bolts trying to remove them.
I think they’re a 90105-08114. Can anyone confirm the part number or recommend an alternative?
1996 fzj80.
This is them and where they go.
Thanks!
I'm looking for the bolt that goes here, but I can't find it on the toyota parts deal.
does anyone have the part number?
It fell out and I carried it in the console for years, finally threw it away, and then the other one got loose and I know what it was for.
Thanks,
I just picked up an OEM hitch that I want to install on my LX450. I know the bolts are M12x1.25 pitch, but what is the proper length I should use? I've seen various responses on forums, one saying 35mm and others saying 50mm, 60mm.
What's the consensus please?
Can anyone confirm that it is 30mm? Is there room for a deepwell impact socket on a breaker bar, or is an open-end wrench needed?
Needing to hold it still to remove torque converter bolts.
Thanks!
I removed my lifter cover on my 2f to reseal it, and I have a broken 6mm bolt in the block. Curious what you all think, should I just forget about it and go about my day, or try and remove it? Welding a nut to it is probably not an option, right? I tried drilling it for an easy out, but the hole...
Can anyone tell me where this Torx bolt may have come from? I happened to find it, size T30, underneath the plastic cap of the negative terminal connector on my battery a couple of days ago. I recreated how I found it in the last photo, below.
I installed the battery myself in 2020. Since then...
Help please.
How do I remove top bolt on bottom end of EGR pipe?
I was up until past 2am messing around trying to get this and am stumped. I just need to get enough leverage to crack it loose.
I got the bottom bolt out with some long extensions from the wheel well with the tire out. I just...
So I'm working on taking off my old bumper and recovery points to put on an ironman bumper and I broke the inner welded on nut, so it just spins and spins now. Any ideas or suggestions on how the heck to get the bolt out now? It's the far-back one in the picture and the cover on the frame end...
Hey everyone, I snapped this bolt the other day and need to order a new one. I am looking for the part number for it.
It goes in the hole that is circled and is a 14mm flange nut.
This is for one of the idler pulleys. Pretty sure it’s the ac pulley but not 100%
TIA
Hey all -
it looks like the last yokel in here broke off or did away with the exhaust manifold to egr mating stud on one side. I’d really prefer not to wait days for a replacement — anyoneknow the thread and size spec of those things?
There is an 825 piece set of stainless steel fasteners listed on eBay coming from Australia for around $250 including shipping to the U.S. Is this a good deal, and a smart idea to buy for an FJ40 rebuild? It's for so many series....70, 80, 100, 200, etc., is there maybe something more specific...
