    Regear 8-speed from 3.3 to 3.9?

I live in Boulder and have mulitple modified 4x4s. I would not trust any recommendation from John's 4x4 regarding an LC 200. They are primarily a Jeep shop and make recommendations through that lens. And even if they agree to do the 3.9 gears they quality of the work might be suspect given...

    Ineos Grenadier

Most Ineos dealers are selling at MSRP. No haggling required. A Grenadier costs what it says on the tin. It is akin to pricing from Tesla, Rivian and Polestar. If that is a turn off then maybe a Grenadier is not in the cards.

And the transfer case is from Tremec.

    Ineos Grenadier

The price of the Grenadier and the limited numbers to be sold prevent it from being a Bro Mobile by any generally agreed upon definition of the term. Vehicles that can definitely be Bro Mobiles are Jeeps, Tacomas, really any rig with too much lift, too large of a tire and too many accessories...

200 Series Lift using Tundra front IFS and Icon shocks

With a Tundra conversion most guys are running wheels with OEM offset and using a 1.25" or 1.5" spacer in the rear only.

    Builds Canguro Racing's Monica

Brilliant setup. I have not previously paid any attention to specific builds for desert racing rigs and as a result never noticed that they commonly run debris shields.

Must be to protect the driveline from debris coming off the front tires. Cannot imagine it is for the benefit of other race competitors unless this is a required item to race in particular events.

The important question, what is the orange/red "flap" under the center of the vehicle touching the ground?

SQOD Squad - Stupid Question Of the Day

The RCV axles that fit on the 200 with a Tundra conversion are a direct OEM replacement for the Tundra. Over 100,00 Tundra were sold yearly between 2012 and 2020. Only around 3000 Land Cruisers were sold annually during that same time period. So the Tundra market is 33 times bigger than the...

    Suspension Articulation RTI Tracker

The Grenadier uses a five link suspension not radius arms. It is very similar to the suspension used in the Jeep Wrangler. With the addition of a disconnecting front sway bar the Grenadier would have a much higher RTI score. The aftermarket is likely to produce multiple disconnect options.

    Suspension Articulation RTI Tracker

The Grenadier is a bit of a contradiction but I find it oddly appealing. The positives: Old school good looks, ~1750 lb payload, twin solid axles, triple locked, turbo induction for good high altitude performance, easily customizable, flat roof that will lend it self to Troopy style tent...

200 Series Tire and Wheel Size Database

The general consensus is for an offset between 40mm and 25mm which will allow for 34" tires with minimal work needed to eliminate rubbing. The only exception to this would be the Toyota OEM Rock Warrior wheel which has an offset of 50mm. Depending on the tire width this could leave the...

SQOD Squad - Stupid Question Of the Day

That tire size is a modest increase from stock. You might have better luck pulling the spacers. This would reduce the size of the arc traveled by the front wheels when you turn from lock to lock and could eliminate the rubbing.

SQOD Squad - Stupid Question Of the Day

The spacers are not needed to use Heritage wheels on a 2013 but they would facilitate the use of tires larger than stock. Using the stock tires size with these spacers would not cause any issues. It would just increase the scrub radius of the front suspension but not likely something you would...
