Hey all. I pulled this pic from Mud some time ago and I've been gravitating toward this color red for some new paint. Maybe some of you know this truck and know exactly what color red. I'm guessing Carnival Red? Is it a Toyota red, or a custom color? I like it, sure like to know what it is. Input much appreciated.

My eye says 2 different shades of red; door area looks more orange red than hood.
Computer screen color vs pic film color vs actual color - just go pick the shade you actually like in person from a color wheel or sample.

@jomelo Seminole Red

This is my truck. The color is Seminole Red and that’s an early red color from Toyota. I believe 1964 was the last year it was used.

Firstly, beautiful truck Sir. Personally, the nicest 45 restore I've seen, well done. Secondly, thanks for the information, doesn't get any more definitive. I thought it could be Seminole Red, but I recently saw a different rig painted the same color, looked much different through my computer screen, so I had to ask to be sure. I'm working on a `65 FJ40. I'm a ways from painting, but in my search for that color code (T-332) haven't found anywhere that has it ready to go in the data banks. I haven't pursued it very aggressive yet either. If you have any info on where you had the paint made, that you'd like to share, would be most helpful.
Thanks again for confirming, enjoy that 45!

@ClemsonCruiser painted it before I got it.

When I originally painted it I could not find a supplier that had the actual formula for Seminole Red. So I had the underside of the tool box lid from an original paint Seminole Red 40 "blocked" to produce the formula I used. I'll see if I can find the formula and post it up here shortly.

Found it.

Fantastic Sir! Thank you for posting this because its is a hard color to find any info on. I figured this thread was doa. Much appreciated!
Glad to help that’s what this forum is all about. Seminole Red is a great color much deeper and more rich than the later Freeborn Red. Good luck!
