Hello I just read your Zeke tread , Thank you , Like you I just brought a SOA fj55 , There was a day i wanted a SOA but not so much now , But I got a great deal on my SOA 55,
I also have thought about putting back to SUA , But I am now thinking about putting Electric folding steps on it ???
I just need to get the right size and hope I can make it work ?? My 2 cents

I've always wondered how my altitude-challenged friends and/or their significant others get in and out of their towering vehicles so easily. My wife complains about my Pig with 33s and a 2.5" lift and we're relatively tall.

You guys need to think outside the box , Folding steps might be really nice , might look good , and cool ,
should be out of the way for mild wheeling , If your hitting your rockers on a SOA , You would be a rock crawler , If I do this Mod .I will post up .

So Zeke did some work today.

250 miles round trip to pick up cruiser parts for my FJ40 project.

Got to meet the good folks at @Voodoocruisers as well and see their amazing rigs.

They motivate me to get my rigs together at a higher standard, for sure.

The last 100 miles home I had a sticking throttle, which is disconcerting in the wet, to say the least.

Nice to know now. Asked the question a few months ago in this forum a few months ago and got crickets/suggestions to get similar license plate lights from the Celica GT

I try not to come off as too entitled, but the irony was funny to me.

The license plate lights came in two days ago, and I have to say that I am impressed. Appear to be high quality and an exact match to OEM in every way. Fairly easy install as well.

Also got some new JIS screwdrivers

I got some $10 lights that ALMOST look identical from Pep Boys. Only had to drill 1 hole for a slightly offset mounting stud.

Got a little down and dirty yesterday, plus my driver's side door lock now doesn't function. Key won't turn in the barrel.
