Yet another LSPV/ABS delete how to... (6 Viewers)

Based on the photos, it just looks like the “f” input is horizontal on both non abs units. Unknown if internals are different though.

Went through all the pages here and didnt see an exact answer:

I have a 1990 hdj81 RHD (front and rear disc brakes) with no factory abs.

Has anyone deleted the LSPV on this setup? I dont have the tee under the MC, just two lines coming off the MC. Connecting the two lines at the LSPV is the easy part, but Trying to understand where i need to remove that unsused line after that. I believe the line i need to delete from the lspv goes to a tee near the front left wheel bolted to the frame. Can anyone confirm?

I think this non-abs diagram is pretty accurate. Green line is sensing line that goes into a 3-way tee. I guess I have the option to plug the 3rd hole after removing the sense line, or I could purchase a 2-way 90 degree connector.

Just following up on my last post in case anyone needs it down the road:

I successfully deleted my lspv over the weekend on my non-abs truck. My truck is a jdm 80 series so your US model might be different.

There is a tee on the left frame rail just behind the front left wheel/shock area. Theres a rectangle protection plate bolted to the frame to cover the area you need to work on. remove the plate and you'll see the tee in the photo below. Remove the ''left'' line from the tee. This is the sense line you wont be needing that connects to the lspv. I had a very hard time trying to find a ''90 degree'' union that would replace the tee. So instead i opted for an m10x1.0 double/inverted plug to simply cap off that port I didnt need. Link below for the site I used. I placed an order and it shipped the next day.

double/inverted Plug. Be mindful you are clicking the correct option (double, inverted) and not the bubble option.

Looking for a good used 1995-1997 ABS Pump with minimal corrosion. Let me know if any of you still have your old one.

I have mine sitting in the garage if you need it

I am wondering what the difference is between the stock master and the non abs master? Does anyone know if the abs master have a limiter for the rear circuit in it?
I have both Advics (Aisin) MCs here, BMT303 and BMT068 with 068 being first gen ABS (93-94) and the 303 being the later model NON ABS. Aisin has superseded most part numbers on the early 1FZs to just two, the 303 for non ABS, and 068 for ABS applications. If you search their online catalog, there are a few others, but they are all in a discontinued status, so just exhausting existing stock.

Internally the valves are the same, They have the same connectors for the warning lights on the outside, and the only external differences are the locations of the brake line ports, and the 068 has a single downward facing port that is plugged with a brass screw. I BELIEVE that was for non US market vehicles, but I can’t remember where I found that info, so consider it suspect at best. I can provide pics if y’all need to see them for whatever reason.

On the later models (95-97), there is only one, it is BMT046. It is also identical mechanically (including the brass screw I mentioned above), but uses a different connector for the fluid level light. I don’t have that one on my bench, but I just replaced it on a friends truck, so I had a chance to look at it closely.

Also looking for a good working abs pump for a 95-97 Land Cruiser. Shoot me a message if you have one for sale. Thanks!

Ok I give up! Can someone help me find a suitable replacement for the "T" fitting after an ABS/LSPV delete? I bled everything today and tightened it all up but it's still leaking. I unscrewed it fully and cleaned everything out, tightened back down but still leaks.

It's leaking from the front fitting.

In this thread, there should be a part number for a T somewhere. I think the T from the rear axle.

Thank you... I scoured all 14 pages and few other theads as well, but may have missed it. Back into the depths I go.

I'm not real familiar with the types of flared threads out there (10mm, double inverted, bubble etc) so I'm not exactly sure what to look for.

Oh sorry, I could have swore I remembered seeing one. I’ll check around.

There are many M10x1.0 T fitting options direct from Toyota if you need one. Go to Partsouq and search any Toyota SUV or truck, in the brake section. One I chose, for other reasons, because it has mounting as well you can modify and tie to the fender, 90412-A0005 ($16-$20).
I think I found it! So M10x1.0 T fitting? Inverted flare?

Awesome! Thank you. Part ordered. Just in case anybody else here needs one.
