We almost missed winter this year, did not shovel snow once.

He has a deposit on a nice Lincoln with 460, but the widow has not signed the title so it sits, hope he gets it one day.

I won’t put up any fresh pics of the backyard today Bob :flipoff2:

I did get in and re-measure all the bits for my fan adapter and various spacers in need of lathe time, try and see dad one night this week.

For Bob, he has strange offshoot of the disease…loves the ones most others don’t.

Speaking of Spring, Yukon Cruisers ought to chime in with his current conditions. I believe the lows are still below 0F there, with plenty of snow on the ground. 😬
For sure, he is well North of the ranch and it’s only just melting there this week

You got it! 0F a week ago, but considerably better since - 10F right now. and we have snow, got another 4 inches this weekend, 66 inches sso far this year (much more than usual) - I have 8' snow piles all over the property. It will stay like that until the beginning of May, then in 3 weeks it will all melt like it never happened. But, I now have some budget to build a garage this year, well, to build the foundation anyway, so hopefully will be able to work on cruisers more than half the year.

Went to dad’s shop last night, chatted about updates to his 2002 wiring harness.

Got the lathe spun up, the short steel spacers for PS and Alt went quick, the alum block for the fan adapter not so much.

Trying the part off the extra length was bad chatter, slowed the speed right down and it started cutting nice, then about 2/3 of the way through it snapped off🤬

I’m not on the lathe enough to recall what little I learned in high school, but I guess too much feed or not enough lube. Grr.

Buy some new tooling and try again, next week 🤞🏻
