While we are up there, does anyone have any NATO cans (metal or plastic) that they would be willing to trade? I have two brand new red 5gal Scepter fuel cans (CA compliant unfortunately) that have never been used. They are just barely too wide to fit in my MRAP can carrier, so I'm assuming I can only use legit NATO cans, although these scepters look like NATO style.

Just figured I'd ask if anyone wanted to strike a deal.

Clarification: These Scepter cans are 7.3 inches wide. NATO is 7 inches wide. Just in case someone else wants to buy military surplus carriers and is hoping to use the cheaper Scepter cans. No go.

Would love to but out of town that weekend.

Know any reliable/trustworthy dog sitters? Probably for 8-9 days. We normally board them so might end up doing that.

We used to use rover.com - had great results. Found a couple of options close by who would come stay at our house for less than 30/night. Great value IMO.

For our next dog, we will find sitters that watch our dog at their house. Just couldn't do that with our geriatric dog, Splash (due to mobility issues). That option is even cheaper.

We were lucky to find a farm sitter that is good with horses, dogs,cats and security.

Once we found her we have had a great relationship.

Everyone still meeting up? The weather is constant thunderstorm down here in Hickory with no sign of letting up. If people are going to be there, I'll still come out and enjoy a cold beer though!

We had a good time as well. Cool spot, good choice Josh. The drive home was fun, rain was pouring and nothing but curvy mountain roads. We got home at about 9PM and had to feed and rug up the horses
