It would have been an extremely dramatic angle. Of course I could just be a dam straight idiot though? I will check tomorrow. With SBC conversions the stick shift lever is usually heated and bent to clear the heater without trimming the heater.

Hard to believe... so much easier than notes on windshields and being chased down the road for stalking peoples rigs....Wow….15 years of mud today.
ooh paint drying... been doing a bunch of that lately on the "new" axle.Extended the roll bar. Better crack a beer to watch this paint dry.

Too late now, but from what I've seen, the 42 top cover is so rare there'd be a line up of dudes wanting to trade you for a 60 cover plus wads of cash/blowjobs or whatever your preference. The 60 series top does throw it back a lot. Maybe like 4-6”?? It could have saved the heater but I don’t have one. All it needed was another inch. Looks like the shifter was already welded at one point. But it clearly would have crushed in the bottom of the heater. The dash is different on the bandeirante, which makes the heater core slightly lower maybe?? I could have deleted the stereo location but I want tunes.
This is a donor engine from a bj42. The swap wasn’t done to oem Canadian specs. There’s a bunch of weird minor things that this created. Radiator is mounted closer to the engine. There’s a shorter fan shroud. More distance between the firewall and engine. Etc. I’m going to get it running as good as possible by this summer and sell it.

Yes I am aware that the top of the H55 is very valuable and some one would have traded me 60 series one plus a BJ from his wife. I just thought it would have been too far back. I just seen a cruiser that had the shifter way too far back from a 60 top and didn't like it. I don't mind the cut heater core shroud. Its barely noticeable.Too late now, but from what I've seen, the 42 top cover is so rare there'd be a line up of dudes wanting to trade you for a 60 cover plus wads of cash/blowjobs or whatever your preference.
Unfortunetly the roll bar has to be mounted all for points on the wheel well to fit the jumper seats which I plan to use. Going to get a TJ seat in Qualicum soon for the 2nd row seating. It would be pretty cool to have 5 passengers in the crewzer.Bring it forward close enough for shoulder attachments. So the rear pads are right at the
front edge of the wheel well. I think it looks good.
Hang your laundry off it.
If you can get a bench that works with these I’d highly recommend it…Unfortunetly the roll bar has to be mounted all for points on the wheel well to fit the jumper seats which I plan to use. The 2003-06 TJ seat is a 3 seater? If you can get a bench that works with these I’d highly recommend it…View attachment 3549951
Fold and tumble… folds flat, and then the whole seat forward. Pull a lever, and then the whole shebang lifts out.
Been running with a 3 seat rear bench since ‘92. Wouldn’t want it any other way.
Can send pictures of your back seat??If you can get a bench that works with these I’d highly recommend it…View attachment 3549951
