Just snapped this in Death Valley Thursday night.

This past weekend I saw 2 40's in the same day, while driving my 40. A first. One was parked in a neighborhood, a well built green earlier 40, and the other was a baby blue one that I passed going the opposite direction on the freeway. Saw him from a mile away, gave a huge thumbs up, but he was oblivious and did not see me. Very few 40's on the road in Southern California for how great of cruising weather we have. Green one can be seen from street view:

And mine, same trip, in Bonanza Gulch.

Yes, we still USE our rigs. Hopefully we will have another run in June.😊

There’s quite a bit of wild asphalt in this thread!😛

I think for long term FJ40 owners it would be higher. Curious the current length of ownership for those who bought since they became popular. Between how crude they handle and ride. All the south of the border poorly restored and lastly US imported not restored much better I would guess that length is not very long.
My first one was in ‘95-96. Sold it when our oldest was born. Took me 20 years to get a second one. Doubt I’ll let this one go under normal circumstances.

It was in Long Canyon in Moab. @doseman 40 was on point all week. Climbed everything and he drove it from the hotel every day out to the trails.
