FYI Braid offers much of what Evo looks like IMO. I was on the Evo boat, too, but all things weighed equally I'm sold on the USA part of the whole thing,
 USA? Braid is made in Spain (with a USA sales presence) and Evo Corse is Italian.

Ha that’s funny. Where the hell did I get that when I first looked at them (Putting pipe down slowly)

Haha. Braid USA is a thing, maybe that's it.

There's hardly any USA made wheels. All the ones I know of are $$$$$. HRE comes to mind. Everything else is either European or an American company having everything done in south east Asia.

Yeah ... I’m gonna need about a thousand more pictures of this truck.

And I apologize in advance for copying your wheels 😜
Got some trail time finally. LOVE the wheels/tires. Still ZERO rub. I think it's safe to say they fit with no mods at all.

This was at ~15psi cold, 18 psi hot. Very compliant, but seems the tires could take even less with ease.

A huge thank you to this thread and another member who suggested the wheels. I have a 2001 LC Cygnus (Japanese import into the UK). Unfortunately it arrived with 24 inch 2Crave (24x10) wheels that were a monstrosity. The ride was ruined and they had 315 35 24 tyres, ridiculous I know.

Again many thanks to this thread, I have finally got the new wheels fitted today and the tyres were a steal. I will be going with AT tyres next.

Setup now, 20x9 alloy wheels with 275 50 20 tyres. No rubbing. Now just the matter of those mythical hub caps.

What is the biggest size tyre I can get away with?

I ran 295/75/16 ko2s on the SCS f5s and always had a little rub on the pinch weld and mud guards. I ended up trimming the guards and flattening the plastic over the pinch weld but I still always had some rub mid turn and at full lock. When I had the same tires on factory wheels I had zero rub. That +10 offset is just a little much in my opinion. I wish they were +20 or +30. I'm not sure how a 285/75 would have been. I think going to a 35 on the SCS with that offset would be tough. Probably have to do a body lift and extended bump stops.

Wait could you clarify what this setup is? Do you run a suspension lift on this setup?

Lots of great info in here from all sides, love these kind of discussions and love to see what fits and what hits in the real world while being used etc... I have two 100's and one 200. I run the setup you described above on my 200(I know this discussion is about 100's:)) but just wanted to clarify that setup works on the 200 series. Unless you were talking about it rubbing on the mudflap and lower inner plastic fender parts? It does not hit the fender and clears it for a full tuck(no additional bumpstops). After removing the mudflaps and cutting out some of the lower inner plastic lining I have zero rubbing. On my LX I roll a 18x8.5 with a 35mm offset and 33x12.50's, haven't had the LX offroad much(I'll take it out soon and flex it up and report back on rubbing) as I just got it so the jury is still out on if those will rub or not, so far no rubbing. Anyway just adding in my a couple of examples of wheel/tire combos!

hey could you potentially clarify the LX setup?

At that time I was running 35mm offset wheels with 33x12.50 tires with stock AHC. The only place they rubbed was under full compression the tire would rub the frame on the rear at full stuff. Now I run 35x12.50's on 17 inch wheels with zero offset and have Old Man Emu medium duty springs in the rear and have larger bumpstops, no rubbing with the new setup...

Hi all,

It’s been a while but I finally got my wheels on my 2006 Lexus LX470. I was going for Method 703 with a +35 offset. Was on back order for the last 6 months with no end in sight. Good deal came along where a set of Method 312 came along at 400$ reduced price because boxes were damaged (not the wheels) so really good deal. Wheels are 17x8, 5 5x150, 110.5 with a 0 offset with BFG KOII 285/70/17 tires. No rubbing! The zero offset made me nervous but they fit well and look good! The only issue is that the front hub caps don’t fit on, as the hub protrudes out so the cap doesn’t fit. I called Method and they don’t make a hub cap spacer (I don’t want a wheel spacer only a hub cap spacer).

I tried to find hub cap spacers but could not find anything online. Anyone have a website that helps with hub cap spacers???? Need about 1/2 inch spacer for front end only. Thanks for your feedback and never forget there is somewhere out there not explored yet, go find it!

Nice looking rig mate.

Spidertrax? Hub-centric engineering by Slee?

I have been using the 1.25s for my 17" Rock Warrior TRD Caps application for our '05 LX and have not had any issues.

Good Luck Mate.

Can you mention which wheels exactly are in this photo? I am installing Treps as well ... stock AHC but 1" body lift. I have the stock 18" wheels on my 06LC but want more sidewall. Pinch weld and some light inner fending trimming ... was thinking of bead locks but I love these. If I could go down to 16" that would be great but I don't think that's in the cards for me. I'll keep my 18"s with street tires and swap over the Treps for the trail. Did you re-gear? Gears, T-case low range gear and lockers are next. Your rig is amazing. That looks like the Rubi ...

Thanks for the props on the rig, yep Rubicon 2nd year in a row, love that trail! The wheels are Method NV305 17x8.5 with zero offset, ARB air lockers front and rear, 4.88 gears and 25% TCase low range reduction gears... Can't wait to see your build, Cheers!

I have a bone Stock 2004 LX470 with the 18" wheels. i'm looking to go smaller for more rubber. Does anyone know if a 15x8 wheel from a '98 Land Cruiser would fit? I know it's 5x150 lugs but i'm concerned they'll be too small for the brakes or something, can't find anyone talking about a 15" wheel on 100 series. Anyone have any experience with this?

Negative on 15. The inner barrel side of the wheel or maybe the spokes will hit the front brake calipers.

Hi Eighteen, so here was my solution. I didn’t really want wheels spacer only a hub spacer. Was worried about wheel sticking out too much with a wheel spacer. I called Method and they don’t make a hub spacer. So I went for aluminum spacers and longer M.5-8 blots. It pushed the hub cap away from the Hub. It has some protection now. Not ideal but not bad. I’ve put several hundred miles on this set up and no issues so far. 👍👍
