What the hell is goin on in Jimmy's Barn (2 Viewers)

Not a lot of activity since last fall. Did some work the other week on Ben’s @BigHighBlue sweet 60. Knuckles, front crank seal (land all the other stuff when you’re that deep into the front) and some other smaller jobs. The PO was Coop @samc2447 so I can bust his nuts on any sketchy PO work I came across . JK...this 60 is well sorted.
Jumped over to a trailer build I’ve been planning. More of an “uncle Kieth” Job, but should be effective. Recycling a beat up Costa Rican 45 bed and a 60 frame that was bent in the front quarter.

Ya, that's the cleanest knuckle rebuild I've seen. Oh, and I've never seen black Moly, perhaps I stick to my brands too much.

Hey Nik, I believe the brand I use is Valvoline. I’d have to look at the tube in my shop to confirm. And early on in my knuckle jobs I was a bonehead and used regular bearing grease until someone educated me on this. Still need to correct my personal truck as well .

Yes it is Felicity. Came fully optioned with rebar, filler and rust . Even found a few bolts welded into seams etc.

Pretty good. Whole truck will get a restoration. Saving a 12HT and a H55 for her

Thanks again for all your help Jim. Been enjoying the hell out of driving my blue truck since I got it back. The smog pump delete makes the 2F sound fantastic, I had no idea!! Not to mention the trouble shooting on the fuel issue. I still need to drop the tank but changing the filter has made it a new truck. I think its the first time she's been over 70mph since I've owned her! Cheers!

Ha. Pete, it’s been a while since I’ve bought one so I’ve had this extra one for a few years. Needs a rebuild so my son is helping with that. Something I just realized though is the 60 frame I’m using under this trailer actually came out from under my blue 60 which will be pulling this 45 trailer around. Those that have followed my Frankenstein build may recall that frame. It’s a solid Arizona frame. It’s been so long ago since I pulled that frame and stuck it in the woods I completely forgot where it came from. I am king of recycling .
