Wait. What??? There is another cellar below the staircase at his house???? I did not know about that one.

Jim, you awake? Awfully quiet in there.

Been working on the new 61. Trying to get this Jenky suspension worked out :) will replace the rear third member and then get it inspected and all the paper work processed. Going to move the grey/black Ricaro seats (and steering wheel) to my blue 60 and put the stock turbo seats back in the white 61. Looking forward to playing with this one. Picking up the correct steering wheel from another MUD friend from up north.

Driving on the right hand side is one thing but shifting left handed is another... o_O
Probably doesn’t take long to get used to it in that BADA$$ 61.

I’ve done it in a 45 on a busy two lane road after a few beers. It was interesting!

It’s a bit weird in the beginning but you do get used to it in short order. Not sure I’d DD one, but mixing it into the order is fun to drive from time to time.

That is a badass 61. Love it.

I wasn't drunk... just a tad silly.

Know it was for sale? @CaptClose

EDIT: Yes, you do.

Yep... he gave me the heads up a few months back because he promised me first right of refusal. Kinda bummed to see this truck change hands again. Would be cool if one of our cruiser buddies bought it.

So we dropped in to say Hi to Jimmy while in the area. I also got to see Ricky Creech, Jimmy’s father-in-law (circled in yellow). Ricky is the Big Bang in Jimmy’s cruiser mania. Ricky is the one that shared a red FJ60 with Jimmy’s family that has since blossomed to over 30 cruisers? Maybe 40. I have lost count. Ricky is a man of many talents. Great guy to be around. Ricky also checked out some of the projects the boys are working on in the Elf Barn.

Ricky, we are forever grateful for sharing the red 60 with Jimmy. Otherwise we all would have never met and life would be so much less.

We also got to spend time checking out @CenTXFJ60 new HJ61. He scored big time. Cool truck. What are you naming this one Jimmy?

Ah ha. CD, you are spot on with Ricky. Great dude. He’s the one that converted me from muscle cars to cruisers :). Even though his old truck is no longer what it was when he gave it to us it’s been recycled well. McGuire has it now and Addison is running his original 2F in his 60. Here’s what it looked like when I first gave it to MJ. As for the 61, I believe I’ll stick with “Kawasaki” for a name since that’s the port it shipped out of in Japan. Even has a name badge on the windshield

You even have the chrome molding around the windshield too. Do your other 60 series have that too or is it just a JDM thing? (Both of my 70 series have it when I got them).
