The OEM temp gauge (w/ new correct sending unit) was reading warm. Today I burped the radiator, then drove it, then reburped 4 times and it read the same. No problems running. I had an Autometer gauge installed previously and it always read cool. Pretty convinced the gauge is toast. But heck it looks and drives great!

Looks great man!
Is that your fuse block where the ashtray was?
I feel your pain- October was a good month for finally getting off-road with mine. Then Halloween it starts snowing, which means they’re laying the magchloride down again. The mini van has a hole I need to patch before it shortens the life expectancy anymore. This is all reminder I need- even with my aluminum tub.Got her home from the tuning/dyno shop just in time to put her away for winter .... tears
NAASTY weather on the way .... $%^%^$##!!

Yeah. I've got the cover which looks really nice when it's on using rare earth magnets. Whole system was rewired by a good buddy of mine. He's an electrical wizard. I've got courtesy led lights hidden under the dash, in the glove compartment and a Vader light for the dash is in the works too.

Yeah, i picked the wrong profession - I'm a structural engineer and these electrical gremlins are KILLING me!Dang that sounds bad ass! I'll be happy when I can get my turn signals working, HA! I'm convinced that to own an FJ40 it requires an electrical engineering degree or at minimum a mechanical engineering degree.
