Replaced a very nice hood spear with a 'special' one from 66fj40x2,;)

Started 'cutting' the paint on the hood.

pulled rear axle...fixed up my spring hangers for the 60 springs and trussed the rear axle....started to measure and think for a full out hardcore roll cage as well

69 1F Put the dizzy back in, replaced the generic electric fuel pump that was on it when I bought it with a Japanese mechanical unit and managed to seize up the motor after new clutch/brakes/cylinders/emergency brake/header weber 38 were installed man this week sucked

Put in new mudrak TC, balanced rear driveshaft, carb adjusted, new brake booster and MC, upgraded my headlights and headlight wiring harness.

busy week.

Almost finished sanding and repaininting the seat brackets. Almost finished putting all the new CCOT seat covers on. I actually had my wife sanding stuff down with me. I am waiting for a few odd sized stainless steel bolts from Fastenal. I found something that was not metric on my 40. The seatbelt bolts are standard.

OME

got the rear end sitting on its own with new 2.5" OME springs.

I have always been curious about what you guys do about the heat deformity after all the welding has been done. Is it neglegible with the MIG welds?
Ehsan

Ehsan- I am planning on a bit of bondo (filler). This is not a restoration.

Installed the charcoal canister, a Marks Offroad rebuilt carb, and the Classic Cruisers seat bracket extension kit. Now chasing down some fuel leaks and a total electrical failure (I think I cooked something in the harness)
