I tore down the front knuckles for bearing/seal replacement. I am cleaning parts and getting ready to reassemble.

I also took delivery of a 2 1/2" OME heavy lift kit to replace the new NHK 4" lift springs.

Rewired the tail lights and rear side marker lights. Replaced heater hoses inside...thought that would fix leak but it didn't. Can only find used rear heater cores so I ordered and aftermarket heater from Summit. Hope this works....

Mark,

Would you do a write up and pics of how you did that to the drivers seat? I have ben NEEDING more leg room on the drivers side and did not know the best way to go about getting as much as possible!

Here ya go!

!.Remove seat.
2. take off the 4 nuts that hold the seat frame to the seat.
3. Mark and drill four new holes in the top of the seat frame at new location desired. I picked 1.25" because it still lets me tilt the seat back a little forwards before the tubing hits the rear wheelwell.
4. Measure back the same distance on the sides of the seat frame where the latches catch the frame and mark it.
5. I used a 1/8" drill bit and drilled multiple holes to 'outline' the shape of the holes, then drilled inside them to collapse the center. Round file to finish.
6.Reassemble and enjoy!

The next stage is gonna be wickedly hard. I am considering cutting open the firewall and fabbing up a new footwell in the firewall that is 3" forwards!

That would be a magazine write-up.

Bulldog! Holy cow that looks awesome. Do you have a build thread, so I can short out my keyboard with all the drool?

This week I cleanned the t-case and engine and set them on castered cradles and rolled them outside and tarped them. also I have reduced the body/ chassis to the tub with the windsheild still attached. I still need to remove the steering, windsheild and then the tub. I expect to start cleaning and treating the frame and starting the body work this weekend.

Dustin-------those SEATS look awesome

Dustin - thanks for the source. BEAUTIFUL>>>

I put a 4'' old man emu lift with the U-bolt flip kit and also had my seats re-upholstered. It was a beutiful week......atleast until I got the credit card bill!!!!!

Nice Destin!

I replaced the rear Xfer case seal with a double seal piece made by Poser. Thanks, bro

I installed a new radiator that needs a tail piece to fit a pet cock and I used T-Clamps I got at Summits because I was tired of tearing everything up with the old crappy hose clamps.

All this was a major PITA because I got interrupted in the middle of it for work and then had to finish in the dark.
