Well, I personally love it!! The more gas they save, is more gas I can put in my 79 FJ 40. And my 420 hp chevy pickup.Drove it to the library. Looks like I'm the only one who is cordless. What's wrong with young cars these days?

Worked on the overheating issued I'd had since it warmed up hiere in Ky. After a new waterpump truck would run hot out on the road. Checked for air in cooling system. Finally got around to removing the T-stat and found some small pieces of rag stuck in it. I thought that was the problem, but still I checked the T-stat and it was working properly. Put it back together same problem. Though maybe the autometer gauge was faulty so I borrowed an infared heat gun...it showed everything was cool compared to the gauge. The factory gauge was showing hot also. I could not figure out where the rag had come from. At first I thought the engine builder had somehow left it the block somehow. Anyway I thought I would order a new radiator as I thought maybe it was just plugged up and not getting good flow. So finally at around 2 am one morning it hit me. Maybe the rad had come from a mouse nest. So I pulled the radiator and looked in the inlet, sure enough, more rag material. So I stuck the garden hose in the outlet and poked a rag around it to help make a tight seal. I then took a long brush with a wire handle and ran into the inlet with the water hose on. Lots of little pieces of rag materal flowed out. Put it back in the truck and problem solved. I had the radiator cleaned at a local shop and it set in the shop for about 8 months before I started back with it. So it you have a radiator sitting around my advice would be to seal it up good to keep those little critters out.
