Replaced the (LIGHT BLUE EYE-SORE) carb solenoid connection,

with a new connector from Mr. Coolerman.

NOTE: The top photo shows my Original Carb and the crappy light blue covered male/female solenoid connection some P.O. had installed. While my Original Cab was just recently rebuilt by one of the Carb Guru's, Dr. Jim C., the bottom photo shows my back-up Trollhole Carb installed with the new Coolerman's PLF1P6.3B (black) connector.

Removed radiator to take to a radiator shop due to a leak. Took all five original steel wheels to be blasted and powder coated. Then my wife suggested I plant 11 shrubs. That killed the rest of the day.

Took Beast to the shop for a major facelift ;). New paint rubber and door mechanisms. Excited to get her back!

Had an open morning, so I broke out some carnauba.....OH MY, I didn't realize the paint on my rig was semi-gloss! I was so used to the dull paint, I just figured it came factory 416 Dune Beige in a matte finish. :hillbilly:

I picked up my 69 after the new aqualu tub was installed. I didn't have the time or the experience in doing this. Plus my wife is due at any moment with our son, and future owner of the cruiser. Now it's time to do a little bodywork on the hard top and paint it.
The tub came out nice. I had a real rot issue with the rear quarters, sill and rockers. Plus the floor was no great shake either. All of those problems have been solved and now it's on to small details.

Decided it was time to install the window & door seals, replace window reg, and some of the misc door trim:

I got to wheel the H55 for the first time :bounce: - love it :steer:

Replaced the now discontinued fuel pump on my 78, requiring swapping mounting bolts with longer ones. Fuel filter replaced and took her for a spin with my son after I jump started it. Next day new battery.
