removed my headlight rock guards and put on my new early Toyota turn signals

Installed clutch and brake master cylinders, clutch and brake pedal assembly, hazard switch, wiper switch, cig lighter, brake lines on firewall, trans hump, new t/c shifter boot and steering wheel. Maybe fenders on Monday.
 
Scraped off old s***ty bedliner from incise the tub....So i can start sandblasting and welding

Looks great Cleg...question...is this hose bracket here on backwards? I will be putting mine back together soon and I thought it went on the other way (opening of loops towards the rear). Thanks,

Busy week. Got my 4" SUA lift installed and sorted out the newly found drive shaft vibration. PO must have replaced a u joint and put the drive shaft back together with the yokes completely opposite from each other. Never noticed it until the lift was installed, but corrected it and the vibration stopped. Also installed my new rear bench seat so my daughter can ride in her car seat (she loves it!) and put in my new Smittybilt center console. Hopefully I'll get to put the new tie rod end kit on this weekend...

The engine was complete when I picked it up and appeared to be remarkably unmolested. I thought I took a lot of pictures for reference but the position of the clamp is not visible. It is installed in the picture above the same way it came off, with the water line laying tight against the side of the timing cover. You can see a little of the hose in this shot below but the orange strap is hiding the bracket.

I recommend using aircraft grade paint stripper, its expensive but it melts everything. Let the stripper do its job, leave it on there for a good 45min to an hour. Then find a chipped or broker wood chisel and sharpen it and make it nice and flat. 3/4 inch works well, also having a larger sharp floor scraper maybe 3 inches. Wire wheel does nothing, and sand blasting will take much longer with bedliner... Good luck

decided to clean the air filter. It was one of those oil bath air filters; ideal for dust environments. Looked like it was never cleaned in the last 15 years. have a look...

Finally got all of my wheels and tires mounted and bolted on. IROK radial 37x12.50R17 on Allied 17x9 beadlocks.
