Not really. My initial thought is probably look into that thread about the FJ40dash.com pads and what some people have done to cover the logo on their pad. Sorry I don’t have a link at the moment.

Do you have any of that cut-off dash pad left. You might be able to grind/sand down the inside guts of it where you just have maybe a 1/16 thinck of the front finished portion. Then glue/epoxy that to the unfinished side piece?

Finished installing my defrost hoses. Fortunately the lower elbows were OK, just the upper connector was disintegrated on both. The 2.5” dust collector cuff’s worked perfectly

I loaded Bell up to go get an exhaust system put on. The original brackets to hold the exhaust were gone, so I made some up and mounted the muffler because I dont want drilling in my powder coated frame.
Finished the OME lift last week. New Kenda Klever R/T 33x9.5x15r today. Before the lift, I took some measurements with stock springs and 31-inch Mud-Terrain tires. Here are some before-and-after measurements and pictures. Tire dude put the weights on the outside of the rims.

Next step is a proper alignment, and then will throw the caps on.

I decided to replace the original mirrors on my 40. Over time they have started to crack so I opted to go with OEM replacements. The new mirrors came with new hardware & were available next day through my local toyota dealership.
I used 2x of the same part number as the mirrors are universal for either side.

Good product. Might be worth a shot. Pads already cut. Maybe practice on the piece you cut off.
Do you have a link for that? I can't seem to find it. I would love to buy an fj40dash.com but for that dog's bullocks of a label they stick right on the front. It seems to me that it could be covered well with some urethane, but I'm not willing to spend that kind of money to experiment with it and I'm not willing to make the most prominent item on my dash an ad for him.
I actually emailed the fj40dash.com folks to ask whether I could buy one from them without the label for more money. He never answered.

I have one of the fj40dash.com dashes. I don't even notice the label anymore. It's partially blocked by the steering wheel.
They wouldn’t do it 4 years ago as that lettering is part of their tooling. I purchased one from EBay from a seller in Japan for $395 new OEM and free shipping.

I have one as well… I have not seen the logo in years….it IS near indestructible and gotta be crack proof in 40 years. I’ll never find that part out but..it appears to be a great piece
It's been asked and answered many times in the past. Whether his answer is legit or not, he doesn't seem willing to fix it. I don't own one, but I believe overall it's likely more robust that a stock one.
Have not visited the web page but there was a video of them smashing the s#!t out of it with a baseball bat years ago
