Sending positive thoughts.....You might be daft.... but your no moron.... ;)
I got F'ed with stupid tariffs last month. A 100 dollars worth of OEM toyota fj40 mirrors was stuck in shipping depot overseas with duties due. They never notified me of this on Ebay, after months of not getting my stuff I contacted the seller. He finally told me what was going on and to contact Emirates shipping. Once I contacted them, they advised my items were destroyed. I can no longer reliably buy OEM parts from over there due to this stupid stuff. Money was not refundable.

Got the ‘75 fj40 out in a little bit of dirt and some fresh ocean air. This little stretch of coast is one of the only undeveloped coastal areas on my island. It’s a closed permited area, mostly to keep out tourists in there 2wd rental jeeps. But for residents with 4wd vehicles, we are given free annual permits to access. It’s a beautiful area, especially if you wanted a little solitude!

Anyone interested in one of these? I'll be ordering from Laser tomorrow and will get a bulk discount the more I order.

7.5" x 6.375" 7-ring key holder.

I'm planning on .062 5052 Aluminum deburred but otherwise unfinished. Looking to be around $20ish a pop, depending on quantity.

(Note, I'm not a vendor, I just don't currently have a key holder and decided to make one)

How difficult is it to pull the steering column? I want to rebuild my steering gear box in the future.
Bringing it out in 2 pieces is pretty easy. One piece you’ll probably want to take a fender off.

Drove down to the filling station for a high octane infusion. Hit a three mile warm up lap at 45mph to circulate the fluids. Flexed the 4H and 4L in the back field before reinserting into the BG.

Sounds like a two man job!
It is not that bad I have done it more then once on mine. Help would have been better but I got it done. I don't have the DS fender anyway and it does need to be out of the way. The modular design of a 40 makes things much better.

Ol' Slurps gettin' some new boots. I pulled all five wheels and had the old MT's removed.... the wheels are out for powder coating and the new Kenda Klever 33's should be here sometime next week. They should be a good match for the new 2.5 Redline Suspension. It also gave me a chance to replace the broken lug bolt on the spare tire carrier.
