Brand new exhaust and tail pipe. The muffler I was told is a "turbo tube" not sure the brand but it sounds great. It's mostly quiet with a great exhaust note and it sounds the way it should stock so. Also checked the trans and transfer fluid and was about 2 3/4 quarts low in the transmission and a 1/4 in the tcase. I have already resealed them both and they still leak. Also changed the engine oil for some new 15w40 Rotella

Genuine key case upgrade.
The genuine key case was very small for my keys. Driving without a key case is also suboptimal due to the key noise. Custom case looks nice and keep the keys safe

Finished up installing ss braklines from classic tube. Lines to master will be after i get body back in place. Ignore the shock reservior placement, they were in the way. :) Bends were very close to oem, just a few tweaks required. Soft lines for rear came with TSM mfg. disc conversion kit, plus front from BTB.

I restored the NLA hard line clips along frame with plasti dip rubber. Easy as pie. Looks like it's back to original condition.

Had some surprise ‘me time’ today so I dived further into my flasher issue, and did some more Capri blue uncovering and firewall cleanup at the same time.
My 02/69 does in fact have (2) flasher units. I installed the snow rated version in place of the signal flasher and got nothing new. One side blinks, the other side solid.
I replaced my hazard flasher with the old signal flasher and got a buzz but no lights.
I guess I need another flasher unit 🤷🏼‍♂️
Also need the hard to find rectangular plastic duct to tie the heater to the air intake pipe.

Fall is here in Ohio. So it was time to get the soft top and doors on so I can keep driving it until they salt the roads.

How far from Akron?

You just made me think that the bracket off the slave is actually for the starter ground? I haven't found anything else it could be for?

Getting some work done at RubberCitylandcruisers.com in Akron. 😁
I saw that in your build thread, that is really exciting! I also learned from that thread that @Jdc1 had started up the shop. That lead me to look at his build thread and see his 40 at the Detroit show... I haven't been on mud much this summer. Just enjoying driving mine around. But now I am enjoying getting caught up. Going to be watching how yours goes. I could see myself doing that down the road .

Let me know when you are ready(or need help with anything else), I’m glad to help.

I’ve been putting it off for years. I’m now just old and cantankerous enough to pull the trigger.
