I feel your pain with British cars; when I was younger I had a Sunbeam Alpine and a BSA motorcycle.
HaHa, yeah - I had a Triumph GT6 and a Spitfire! Cool cars, but not too durable.

Roger THAT……. ‘76 Triumph Spitfire I drove in college (when it wasn’t in the shop). My dad was most definitely ready to veto that as he had a late 60’s Dodge Dart picked out but gave in and helped me anyway - He sorta brings that up occasionally 😉

Broke an already broken windshield while trying to reuse the already broken windshield - because I was being cheap.

Ordered a new windshield.

Installed an FJ80 steering wheel to replace a badly cracked and deteriorating factory wheel in my ‘69. Happy to report no noticeable increase in steering input force to turn the tires (manual steering still). Wheel is still a bit too close for my personal comfort, am slowly planning a power steering upgrade and when that takes place, the wheel will be pushed towards the dash an inch or two. Horn nor the signal cancellors are functional yet as i wanted to make sure i liked the wheel before spending any time on getting those items working.

Eventually i will also figure out something for the gap between the new wheel and the turn signal housing.

However small, the Con Ferr “bits” really are pieces of history. I have a
Con Ferr brush guard I wouldn’t part with. If I could squeeze a roof rack onto my smallish garage I’d have one. They made a nice rear bench seat, roof rack, bumpers as well.

Here’s a bit of Holy Grail memorabilia. Con Ferr made some rear storage pieces too. Rear, left and right side pieces.

It's pretty nice. Thinking about pulling it out and getting it powder coated again.

Your top photo is of my 40; I love that box.

Would really like to have the side boxes also, but they are as rare as hen's teeth these days.

Haa! I pulled that straight off of the inter-webs. Well done.!!! Its been awhile since I’ve seen a set of the side boxes for sale too. That would be a nice score.🍺

I remember those boxes by Conn Ferr but thought they were too expensive and made two out of plywood.

They were and are now. I just had a soft spot for the Con Ferr brand for some weird reason that defies logic and my wallet.

My dad @Godwin put a Conferr bumper on his 40 twenty years ago, it’s still holding up great

Those are super nice.

Here's my little ConFerr collection. Chair and roof rack came with the truck, but I got the console off someone here on mud.

Can you share the PN for those cluster screws or did you get HW store generic? Your truck looks great.

Installed a new windshield washer fluid reservoir (Thanks @ToyotaMatt). My rigs reservoir has been MIA since I bought it in 2002.
Connected everything up and...nothing happened.
Connected a different 12v source to the new Denso pump on the reservoir and it worked fine.
I removed the wipe/wash switch from the dash and it was very dirty. Hit it with a bronze bristle brush and used a small file to clean up the washer contacts circled in red below.

Installed the switch back in the dash and bingo, a working windshield washer!
Certainly a small win, but now I can say that EVERYTHING is intact on my 40, and works as it should.
