Had no parking brake for several years so about a year ago got new shoes and rebuilt it.
After so long not using the park brake I now keep forgetting to release the brake and try to take off with it on.
As much as I hate buzzers on things I broke down and installed a switch and buzzer to the E-brake.
The buzzer makes a loud screeching so am looking for something a little friendlier to my ears.
This is my first design and I have another less obtrusive design in mind but knowing me, now that I have something that works probably will be a while to get around to it as it took almost a year to get around to this one.

I've used a few odd hoses myself and I start by looking for something that might work in this Gates catalog. You have to page down to page 45 to see the basic shapes.

The hoses are indeed molded 16mm/5.8" heater hoses. What you see is the result of at least 5 trips to the local O'Reilly/Autozone where I scoured their shelves for hoses that either had the bends I needed or at least could be cut up to get the desired fit. I didn't record the p/ns so you'd just have to grab a few and use your imagination. I returned a lot of hoses in the last couple weeks!

Knucklehead move this weekend ... dropped my front heater fan on the ground and broke it. UGH. Anyone aware of a source for a replacement? Already tried @Racer65. Thankfully a California winter is only so cold ...

There is a Ford fan hack that works on the site somewhere, not sure about an OEM replacements...

After weeks of attempting to fix every PO mistake and shortcut that was done to the Old Gurls engine I decided it'd be easier to just rebuild another engine, swap engines and then rebuild the Old Gurls engine properly. At least that's what I'm telling myself. 😱

I'm impressed at those that can decipher the million vacuum hoses coming out of a smogged 2F. Those and the carburetor will be the first to go. This baby will be my test mule for a new megasquirt 3 build that'll eventually end up in my '87 Supra Turbo. So expect sequential fuel injection and ignition.

@Dumpolina . Thanks again and you were right it does leak from everywhere.😄

Inspired by another 40 owner on another page so i installed the Smittybuilt center console that’s been sitting in my garage for sometime. Armrest will be covered in matching vinyl as the seats. Of course the supplied hardware and brackets were worthless so I threw something together. I clean it up once I pull it all back out to coat the tub in body Schultz.

Watch the sharp corners on that bracket if you ever reach under. I have a gnarly scar that looks like a survived suicide attempt from a similar bracket on my old Scout 800.

I can only imagine. It’ll all get cleaned up once I pull it all back out to fix the transmission tunnel and bedline the inside of the tub with body Shultz.

Appears the base from the Toyota Previa middle row is the perfect stout base for the Smittybuilt fold and tumble seat. Nice thing about the Previa middle row is it fits perfectly between the wheel wells and also came with quick detach brackets from Toyota since it was a middle seat in a mini van. Plans change and didn’t want to waste the bench. Also misplaced the brackets that came with the Smittybuilt Bench. So this will be the rear folding seat instead. Just need to modify the rear feet and spot weld them to the frame.

Looking at those pics you're going to run into the same situation as I did, the passenger side seat is going to sit too high, you are going to be looking just under the top of the windshield frame. If you put a hardtop back on it gets worse.

Unless of course you are only 5' tall.

I'm not bashing your build at all, don't take it that way, I'm just trying to share the lesson I learned before you get too committed. Personally I think those seats look killer and are 1000x more comfortable than the old school seats.
