Wait, what model year did this start in the LC? I think LX's have always had this as a powered feature, but I didn't know the LC ever had that functionality.

Mines a 2019 but maybe 2016+ has them? It only took me hanging out in the GX550 section to discover this. Go figure. Not game changing but there have been a few times where another 4" of cargo room would have been handy.

Hitch carriers are great to add more utility. Putting her to work.

One is not like the others.

@TeCKis300 Careful with items right behind the exhaust. Folks have melted objects with a similar set-up..... usually when climbing long grades.

My 2013 LC has them, so at least since 2013.

Point taken! I'm think my tray is both high enough and far back enough that I've not had an issue over many years using this.

That's some serious tire stagger. What size are the fatties?

A little better-known detail about the second row: the straps stowed in the bottom hook to the grab handles on the B-pillar to keep the seats from flopping around when folded forward.

Speaking of melting.
The driver of this Sequoia had new LED lights installed recently. The driver smelled something and pulled into a friend's gas station under the canopy because it was raining. Next there was a fire with flames reaching 8' to 9' feet above the vehicle. Any higher and the canopy would have been involved. Fortunately the Fire Department is next door and they were able to get to it and pull the cable for the hood allowing them to flood the area with water. Be careful with LED lights. This could have gone really bad if the fire wasn't extinguished quickly because she was in close proximity to 4 gas pumps. My friend had the presence of mind to cut the power to them.
The Sequoia had its battery cable cut and pushed to a vacant area of the parking lot while awaiting a tow truck. Looks like it's destined for COPART now.
