I love it here! This will most likely be my forever home due to the scenery... and interest rates. haha
Maybe she won't notice if you put bumpers and sliders on it...
I was thinking about installing new suspension. Then when the kids struggle to climb in and out I'll have to install some sliders

Changed out the winter wheels and tires and gave it a good wash. Trying to convince my wife to get a GX550 or Grenadier or something so I can inherit this and start building this. But she's not having it!

Good idea. Those mountains in the background are calling.

Re-installed my re-built like new shocks. Broke my cv axle (my fault), got a new cv axle. New front brakes and turned rotors. Probably need a new upper ball joint, will do that in a month or so.

If you’re in Utah County, I’ve totally seen you around! Or rather, your wife! lol

Nice, yeah she’s down there a lot. Says she gets waves and thumbs ups from guys all the time haha

6112s fitted. Just did the fronts for now as I was really nose low due to winch/bumper, supercharger, big starter battery and dual battery setup. They are on the third clip location, nominally a 1.8” lift, in my case taking the hub center to arch distance to 20.5”, about .5” below the rear.
How do you like the ride on the 6112's? I debated about going to them. Have the 5160s on the 100 (replaced LX AHC) and they're a bit... German. The digressive valving is just too firm for my tastes in a truck. I think they'd be brilliant in a GT. I've ran Radflo before in a 100, also digressive, and those were a thing of beauty. I do appreciate that the 100 handles very well on road. You just feel all the pavement flaws. I ended up ordering replacement CDCV's for the 200 as they were a great ride, although they were obviously worn at 60k (15k ago). The Bilsteins should definitely last a long time.

Got the dreaded and feared door lock actuator failure in my passenger door. I elected to replace the motor in the actuator for $5. You can easily turn this 1.5 hour job into a 4 hour job if you don’t pay attention to the interior or exterior release mechanisms when you’re re-installing the actuator and then close the door with no way to open it. You’d be forced to rip the door card off while the door is stuck shut to manually release the latch from the inside and then disassemble and reassemble the entire thing. Ask me how I know…

Ultimately I got it fixed and didn’t break anything. There’s no pictures on the scorecard. I could knock it out in an hour or less now that I know where the bear traps are.

Congrats! Those wheels look great. I had a set, then realized they wouldn't work with Apex valves I wanted to run. Had to settle for the rebound pros.

Anyone have a simple fix for this? I stripped the front diff plug trying to do a 200k service. Figuring I have to weld a nut on?

There's hex extraction bits that will make quick work of this.

I wouldn't be afraid of slotting it with a dremel either. Don't have to cut all the way through before the flange relaxes and it just unscrews out.
