Very clever! I have a set of similar lights, so I might steal your idea. Where did you tap into the power for the lights/switches?
I actually ran the power up to the top of the inner surround, jumped out and then back down the LHS cargo opening and under the drawers to a 1700W inverter that lives beside the drawers. It already has heavy power run to the inverter, and although the inverter is dead, the studs on the back of it allow me to make short runs to other components in the rear pretty easily.

Brought my 200 home on Saturday. Spent a good chunk of Sunday detailing the interior with the :princess:.

Taught a camry driver what a stop sign means yesterday. Left a 2" dent in his quarter panel, busted his rear bumper & taillight.

The a******'s insurance is 3rd party which won't cover damages to his vehicle if he's at fault. Surprise surprise how his temper flips 180° when cops tell him he's at fault. No damage to my cruiser and I wasn't goint to claim, but for the way he acted I'm submitting the accident papers to his insurance as an extra :flipoff2:

Dang, that sucks dude. Im confused though. You said no damage to your car, but your bumper and lower fender looked messed up.

The circular mark on the bumper is glue from a sticker, fender has paint stuck on it from his vehicle I'm sure a good polish would sort it out with the bumper as well. It's 90% scuff marks with little powder coating actually flaking off.

Scuff marks on the bumper mean nothing to me as I've put both ends into a wall and the passenger side into a guard rail once, also if i get it powder coated again it'll look brand new.

Thanks (with voice cracking) After FJ summit I think I will be ordering the ARB BP51 set up and found a guy selling the ARB expedition roof rack with fit kit for $650. this is the rack that will hold a RTT and full length. I talked to TJM at summit and he said they do have the front bumper again. He told me that Dubai cleaned them out ordering everything they had,

Haha i guess the new tjm distributor is doing a better job than the old one, problem here is arb are the only ones focused on the local market. Tjm and ironman have their focus manly on fleet exports to ngo, mining etc. Call up arb ask for this and that, they give you an appointment and you're good to go. Call up tjm ummmmm from which company are you calling? You tell them it's for your personal vehicle and they get confused and have to "check" if they can sell to you

Don't be surprised now if you come out in the parking lot and see it snug up behind a Lexi 570-(That arse) don't worry that's the AC water spot under the drive shaft.

If only we could keep the GX offspring.

Slee Sliders!!!

My sliders arrived on Thursday, so I’m sure you all know I was chomping at the bit for the weekend to come. Well. I’m not going to say this was an easy install, at some points it was really frustrating, but I will say that I volunteered myself into quite a bit more work than I think Slee intended (what can I say, I’m an overachiever :D)…

Here’s what I did different than the instructions:

· The sliders come with 16 riv-nuts, but since there are plenty more holes in the frame and sliders than that, I proceeded to use every possible mounting hole. In all, I believe I installed 26 riv-nuts! Since there’s pretty much no way to get a drill into many of the upper holes, I enlarged the existing frame holes with a right angle die grinder.

· The sliders are supplied with silver screws to mount the footboard to the tubular frame and I’m not really into that look so I ordered some black stainless screws instead. I feel as if it’s a huge improvement.

· Replaced many of the factory bolts with my own bolts as opposed to using up the ones provided. This left me with more matching bolts for the riv-nuts.

Got my TJM T13 installed today:

About 7-8 hours. But then again, I have not wired the turn signals nor installed the parking sensors, so add that, and I'll be closer to 10.

What do you think about it now that you've had your hands on it and see it in person? I think it looks great.

I really like it. Much higher quality than the ARB I installed last month. I am impressed.
