@KLF what kit was that. I really like that and my have to do that to my 200. I had the look of the wood!

The TDs are significantly heavier and larger than the Nitros. First drive impression is that I got the dampening I was hoping for (set at 5).

Time will tell if the adjustment knob is in vulnerable position.

I put the adjustment knob pointed outward (towards the wheels). Inward (towards the differential) seemed like a poorly placed rock could break them.

I keep mine set at 3 clicks up (I assume that's 4?) for normal driving, and I push the rear to 5 clicks when towing.

I had my detailing shop perform a three stage paint correction before applying Opti-Coat Pro Plus and Opti Glass. Huge improvement. And no more waxing.

Looks great! I have Opti-Coat Pro and Glass as well (for 3 years now) and love it. Just be cognizant of ceramic coatings’ propensity for water spots — compressed air or chamois after each wash and don’t park too close to lawn sprinklers...

Thanks, I was told the same by the detail shop. Just ordered my Metro Master Blaster Revolution to try and keep the water spots at bay.
the guys at Northeast Detailing were great. They told me not to wash the vehicle for at least a week. then told me to stop by the shop and they would do the first wash for free to show me on the proper way to wash a black vehicle. Always had black vehicles, and always used the two bucket method, I thought that was the correct way, however, I'm always willing to learn something new.

New, lower-profile ARB Rack went on yesterday! Looks a bit sleeker, easier to load.

The awning just didn't get used and maybe I'll be able to eek out a few more freeway miles without that and the hi-lift mounted up there.

Drove it to a cliff and camped
I was going to say hope you've got a thick air mattress, but it looks like you have a cot:D

I agree that turned outward, they appear much better protected. Probably won't ever be an issue.

Went camping last few days, 8000 lbs at the scale. Set them to 7 and on the highway the rear felt firm while the forest roads were still very nicely damped, controlled and comfortable. Didn't once feel the need to get out and change the setting even though they are SOOOOO much easier to adjust than my old BP-51s. Very, very happy.

With the change to the rack, am bringing the Hi-Lift inside. The mechanism stows in a hard case that's lashed behind the fridge and I cut the beam down a few inches to get it to fit in-between the wheel wells and secured it with a couple quick fists to the Goose Gear platform. The round bar stows nice and secure in the cubby in the back.

Sort of busy week

Got vehicle serviced at local dealer. Got the tailgate and back windows tinted to limo black. Mounted up new 285/70R17 KO2s.

And the big news: Wife and I both retired in the last few months. Today is "pack the truck day" for the longest road trip we have ever taken together (leave early tomorrow morning). Mapping program shows a grand loop of almost 9000 highway miles -- and that doesn't include any of the planned side trips, etc.

Congratulations on the retirement! Please keep us posted on the trip and have safe travels!
