I put in my SLEE 2nd battery tray and compressor mount. Now I just need a 2nd battery and an air compressor. Everything else is pre-wired and ready to hook up.

So you've already wired in the management system? Would love to see photos of your setup!

Finally got the battery management installed on mine.

Crimping, soldering, shrink tubing and obsessing about details that probably don't matter.

And now I get to play with the new suspension. :steer:

Took the third row seats out as I am waiting for my drawers, and experimented with plastidip to de-chrome.

Was thinking of only doing the small chrome piece on the door, but decided to do the whole bump, what do you guys think?

I am also waiting for my black grill.

Wondering how a simple white delete might look...or maybe a matt finish to match your wheels?

My 2008 has no chrome on the doors...which means it looks sorta like a paint-matched delete (just nothing to delete on mine).

Looks better just covering chrome imho.

Black on white sort of reminds me of how TV shows like to put black tape over "Canon" or "Nikon" over labels on cameras used in shows...unless they pay for advertisement. It looks more like you don't want anyone to see that it says "Land Cruiser," or something... ;)

Well, it wasn't this week, but a few weeks ago. Added a LED light bar from EQUIPT to brighten up the rear cargo area when the back is open. Love it!

Lamin-X on the fogs.

Got the transmission flushed. Fluid was pretty dirty and had 118k. Not sure if it has been flushed before. I also noticed the pan and torque temps about 5-6 degrees cooler after flushing. My rear view mirror also fell off so I had to get some 2 part epoxy and reattach it.

$80 for the case

Can you fill us in on how you go about the transmission flush at home? I was under he impression it needed to be hooked up to a computer to measure temps and what not. Thanks!

Same curiosity as well. I searched the FAQ with no such luck for anyone else putting a How-to together. I need to breakdown anyway and get a connector/Techstream soon.

Search BG Fluids Transmission flush and this will show you the machine the good shops use....you tube. Interested on how to do this same process at home also.

Have a friend that works at a Toyota dealership. He used the flush machine. The machine shows you the dirty fluid coming out and the clean fluid going in. He also had to mess with some plug underneath by the transmission and then make sure it was topped off. Not as complicated as I have heard people make it out to be.

What are your normal temps at those locations? What's the hottest you've seen?
