How is the RAM mount doing with vibration?
If impervious to vibration...how is it anchored?
I've been searching for a rock-solid iPad mount, but they seem to be a rare breed...

Thanks for nay info! ;)
Well so far I drove to Starbucks and it survived that venture just fine. I took lead from @Romer and @BTUMAN. A smaller tablet would probably ride a bit better but this is my work tablet so I didn't have to source one. I mounted the 1" ball to my console runner / vertical plastic end piece. I'm sure it'll wiggle a bit when on tough terrain To answer your question.

Do you have part numbers for those pieces?

Looking around and this is what I found and I wanted to double check with you.

Rear rack & divider Part # CRRD200
Shelf Part # BTSLC

Thank you.

Thanks. Yes, the barrier, divider and shelf were all ordered through ARB USA.

Dipped the wheels today. 5 wheels + caps + lugs, 6 cans of black plastidip, 2 cans of graphite metalizer, and 4 1/2 hrs later....

Fun project, quite impressed with how sturdy the plastidip actually is - the lugs suffered no marring even after torqueing them into place after all said and done.

Thanks for all your input, tips, and tricks @kreiten & @Canyonero !

Looks good!!!

Got 2 sets of Slee sliders installed over the last few evenings. Sorry for the poor iPhone pics.

I think it's neat to have two identical 200's living across the alley from each other.

Wife didn't want Rock Warriors? ;)

Must be great to have a pack of 200s.

Too dang sweet.

No pictures, sorry!

Crawled under the axle and started Dremel'ing off surface rust from various areas. There was a track of rust following a few seams. Followed it up by taping and spraying. Took a good while to show some progress. After, I got after the AHC system, which is in the same shape many of the KDSS you've all shown. I ensured I was still able move the release valve before getting to work. Then went to town taping and spraying.

The AHC area is so dang tight, I couldn't get a wire brush or Dremel bit in there. Hoping the rust reformer will hold up.

Definitely time consuming but, ultimately gratifying knowing that there should be less issues down the road.

time well spent

Took the RTT off a few weeks ago for a ROAD trip and wasn't going to use it - also better parking choices.

Cleaned the RTT and put it back on - Thank you to @snookoffroad and his son for the help. Ready for the summer!

How do you like the JB RTT? I'm in the market for one and can't decide which brand to get. Will mostly be used during the summer here in Colorado but need something that can handle heavy wind and rain if/when the thunderstorm hits in the high country.

Nice wheels @kevinfoutch! The plasti dip holds up very well. I've since painted the chrome pieces on the side and on the lift gate and it looks like a stealth mobile without that plastic chrome accents.

We really like the JB RTT - this one is MASSIVE. Very similar mounting/mounts as the AutoHome tents. We had the Columbus before our daughter - that tent was not good when it's windy. Some friends have the Maggiolina (Autohome) with the crank to open and close, that one is really good with the wind. Just don't forget to bring the crank or lose it. Maybe having a 2nd one as a spare is a good idea.

We have only used the JB once - this past weekend. It was just my daughter and I - she loves it! A lot of space for her to goof around inside the tent. Great venting. I need to practice on closing it though, I was really struggling with the rear part of it. The dual zippers (outside door(s) and screen cover(s)) seems to seal well and the velcro on the bottom of the doors/screen sealed well too but loud. Then again all velcro makes noise and everything is amplified when you are in the middle of nowhere. The build quality is good and the finish is good too.

Unfortunately this is one of those products that you have to drop some serious cash to really find out what its like having one unless you know someone that will allow you to use their just to see what its like.

Let me know if you have any specific questions - James Baroud seems to be getting more popular lately. There is a thread in MUD about a user that had some issues with his JB tent and was very frustrated with the customer support, until he went public with it. I think they sort of came to a happy medium about his warranty issue.

I am sorry for the low res photos - I just pulled it from a friends Facebook post. Photos were taken yesterday June 26. Around Blue Lakes in the Hope Valley area off Highway 88 near Lake Tahoe area.

Have you ever used POR? You don't have to really grind anything- just prussure wash clean and apply over rust color- done. Amazing chemical reaction that stops rust dead. Just don't get it on you- also basically have to remove the layer of skin to remove it. For those hard to reach places- You can use small skinny "paint by number" brush taped to a paint stirrer. A little goes a long way.

Light bar and camp lights mounted and wiring harnesses built and run this weekend. I need to fabricate a bracket to hold my Blue Sea fuse block and figure out what leads to use to tap power for my switches, but I ran out of time, so for the moment I'm a total poser with pretty but non-functional lights.
