What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

On Wednesday I installed an OEM block heater and new OEM rear hatch struts on my LX, in anticipation of temperatures approaching -40 in the Canadian prairies. We were heading out to a hotel in a national park, and didn't trust it would start without the block heater. Also last year the hatch kept falling on my head while unpacking the car at the same hotel.

Truck started slowly, but without issue, and the hatch was standing tall. Many popped hoods in the parking lot and people jockeying for boosts. My jump pack got a workout.

Can you share the part number and purchase source of the block heater.

Removed the third-row seating and added an OEM tonneau cover, an LC200 non–third-row cargo mat, and Kaon mounting points to my 13’ LX570

Is that a WeatherTech mat? Can you share the part number please as I'm going to remove the third row seat as well. TY

Stock Toyota mat for non-3rd row, mine was like $63. PT206-60200-02

Those White Knuckle sliders can take a beating! Assume you got the DOM option with the weight of a 200.
Looks like they don't even offer another option. When I ordered my 100 Series sliders from them 10 years ago, I feel like there WAS another option.

Nice! I’m excited to see more tire brands going to 10.5 and 11.5 ( the Kenda Klever 35x10.5 has been a favorite of mine for years!)
Yeah, it was a toss-up between these Toyos and the Kendas. For a net $200 difference for all of them, I stuck with the toyos since I have RT trails on our sequoia and my old SuperDuty and I'm already more familiar with them.

Wondering if I can recruit anyone to help me convince more companies to make a 38x11.50R17. Anyone? I already sent over a request to Milestar since those are the tires I can afford. I can't afford Nitto's 38x11.50.

Why stop at 38s.. this set on Temu looks great.

Need more 37x11.5 options, besides the Nitto Recon Grappler.

Also interested in that tonneau
I have mine from my heritage. You're talking about the cargo area cover not the mat right? They're like 300 bucks or something crazy new. I'll sell you mine cheap!

And did you have to replace the side panels to hold the cover?
Not the whole side panel. Basically the top trim strip under the rear windows with two cup holders gets swapped with another part that has the cup for the ends of the retractable cover. Those plus the two small anchors hat get screwed to the stock side panels. There are even mold marks on the back of the panel where you’ll drill the holes.

Those parts add up though.. I think it was over $250 MSRP in plastic just to mount the cover that I had already procured. I saved a fair amount shopping sales and such.. partsouq wasn’t much help (poor inventory I think)

This does require removing the rear lower panels but the entire install took me maybe two hours, with a big chunk of that being spent deep cleaning behind the panels.

Would you share your parts list? Thanks!

Do you happen to have part numbers for the trim pieces you replaced?
