K9 roof bars install. Anyone have any ideas on how to cut down on the whistling and wind noise with an aftermarket rack? I feel I may be designing an air dam until I put my tent up there.

I had good success on a different platform (Tacoma with round Yakima bars) wrapping in 550 paracord. Immediate and noticeable effect in that application. I only wrapped the leading bar.

FWIW: our spring making plant makes a wire spiral that goes around OEM whip antennas in some cars. We used to think it was to keep the wind from rocking the antenna back and forth. Turns out it is used to cut the noise from the airflow around the antenna.
Don’t know if the same idea as wrapping paracord, but worth a try.

Yup, Karman Vortex as a flow phenomenon specifically for round / cylindrical objects. That spiral breaks it up. Unfortunately it's not likely to help @riffman12 square bars but could be worth a try.
Refreshing the last of the major bushings for the ol girl. UCAs, LCAs, and engine mounts. Boy were the engine mounts destroyed. The UCA and LCA bushes actually look reasonable for 180k miles and heavy use. I'm surprised at the ball joints too, zero play, laughing off years of service and look like they could go many more.
Many thanks to @nwfl4runner for low mileage LCAs. Didn't need to modify them after all to run 37s, but they're getting put to good use.

Nice. What did you use to separate the lower balljoint from the "bridge" part? Someone posted a pitman arm puller that may need some grinding, which I have, but I would like a bit more intel before I tear it apart.

O man. That was definitely the trickiest part. Wish I took a picture. I tried two different pullers with zero luck, partially due to uneven flange plane where I couldn't get them squared up right. Scoured Amazon to find another option but it wouldn't come in time to make a trip this weekend (this one might have the best chance but no guarantees).
The 20-ton press sitting in the corner of my garage came to mind and that did the trick. One joint was particularly stubborn, took some serious pressure and hammering. Then some gentle MAPP torch heat along with more pressure and hammering finally did the trick.
Guess long story to say, and to your point, don't underestimate removing the bridge. Might be easier just to buy a new one to avoid removal.
Engaged winter mode. Summer tires are near the end of their life and will likely be replaced next spring or summer.

Changed transfer case oil with Valvoline 75W90. Was then able to get the CDL to work reliably as it should. I just picked this up a few thousand miles ago.
Replaced the liftgate motor.
Next on the list is spark plugs (appear original), AHC flush (also original) and the spiral cable (horn no worky, fuse good).
Took advantage of a good sale on BD Squadron Sports (199 for a pair with no tax) and also did front diff, rear diff and transfer case with new washers all around.
Greased the drive shaft and put in new Denso TT spark plugs. Factory spark plugs made it to 190k miles but were definitely tired!
Also did a recent oil change and added a ValvoMax.
Next up: will soon be wiring up a DC-DC charger to keep my Bluetti pack running to power my fridge and Starlink and charge Camera gear. And will be adding a GMRS radio but torn between a couple models....

Installed Baja Designs Squadron SAE fogs. Install is very straightforward and plug and play. Small change but completes my “if Toyota built a TRD PRO Bro package for the 200” look.

Played around with the nav startup and screen-off screens. I’d really like to find the old Cruiser logo (like the heritage has on the C pillar) with plain white letters.
