No pics, cuz it's all ugly underbody.
- New Steering rack (OEM) and tie rod ends. Only surprise was how seized the steering shaft was to the old rack splines. Lots of heat and liquid wrench, plus gentle taps on a cold chisel to widen it just a bit got it off.
- New Engine/Transmission mounts while it was jacked up.
- New M10 bolts for the transmission crossmember after breaking 2 and having to weld on a couple nuts to get the studs out - all cleaned up now (rust inhibitor and flat black painted the crossmember)
- Rear diff and TCase fluid change ( did the front diff in the spring)
- Fluid Film the entire underbody in preparation for winter
- a couple minor rust repairs
Maybe some day I'll actually get to do something I WANT to do on this rig, but for now, keeping it safe is the priority.
