Finally used the fog light plugs that were empty since installing the ARB bar years ago. Got pigtails off Ebay, 2 small LED's off Amazon, and bent up two tabs. Uses the factory switch on the stalk. Not a lot of light, they're just 18w, but cheap and easy.

Wheels, tires, torsion bars, shocks (next week) springs... The front's a bit too high - just below level, but, a DiSSENT bumper and Warn winch will be hanging off there shortly.

Love the way those wheels look, hate how much they weight!

Can't wait to see what it looks like with the bumper on. I love that color!

Thanks. I swapped the wheels before anything else was done (still stock shocks, springs, etc.) Really, couldn't feel a thing - braking, accelerating, turning, bumps, nothin. Oh maybe the mpgs will feel it, but I unchecked that box when I signed up for a 5,600 lb full-time 4x4 truck.

Those KO's look great and have me second guessing my TG2's !

Took a Beer Trek (#3) up north and hit some great breweries. 1,500 miles in 5 days, very relaxed trip. On the way back from Grand Rapids today, I noticed a couple of dash gauges acting wonky (that's the technical term) and pulled out my new tablet running techstream to see what it showed - everything was fine according to the OBD port. Passenger noticed some water in the floorboard and said the bottom of the coils were wet - figured it was some water in some wiring, and sure enough as the day cooled and AC ran less, gauges came back.

This was the setup to watch for anomalies:

Having an ARB locker and compressor installed for the front diff

This is on my to do list for the next year or two. I'm also in S. Cal., Ventura, with the same year of LC.
Where are you having the work done? Im assuming it is about $2500 - $3000 - is that close?

Any other suggestions on the job would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Gil

installed a trailer brake controller. Now we can pull the camper with the new 100 for our upcoming memorial day trip. :)

I changed engine oil. Went from Mobil 1 EP to Pennzoil Ultra.

Also drained and refilled the transmission pan. I did a fluid exchange about 8,000 miles ago wanted to add the drain and refill to my every other oil change interval.

turned 100k ! and put my new RW's and 305's on....

Have always loved the RW wheels. Do you have any pics of different angles, would like to see how that size tire looks on them closer up? Wife may actually approve for hers.

Nice! Thanks.

Wife and kid were out of town last night so me and the LC had date night. Did oil change and also installed the new HVAC door that allows air filter insertion. Pretty straight forward. Tight fit but doable. There was a nice little rats nest in there but was easily removed with vaccuum.

While in there I noticed my glove box 'assist string' lol was dangling and actually broken (you can see it to the left of the yellow flexloom, it's a black cylinder with string hanging out of it). Fixed that with some new cord. Now my glove box is so smooth and even the weakest of weak girly men can open and close it. haha.

Also gave it a quick wash before sunset!
