I did the same thing back in 2021…

I used the OEM navigation and amp plate mounting points, and welded in a sub base to accommodate my new amplifier in the stock location under the passenger seat.

I just started to get a crackle from my rear passenger door so I’m starting to think about doing a speaker/amp/sub upgrade. I got the old nakimichi stuff though. There hasn’t been a ton of stuff on wiring new aftermarket amps in on that

Replaced front and rear endlinks and sway bar D bushings. Rears still looked pretty good, but the end link bushings were hard as a rock. Fronts definitely needed replacing. They were flaking apart and also hard as a rock. Hard some semi-rusty bolts that took a while to get off, so I cleaned up all the rusty bolts as well while I had them out. Overall not too bad of a job, Just took longer than expected.

Old Rear Endlinks (I thought I had a comparison pic with the new ones, but I guess I didn't take one.)

I need to update my speakers and amp as well. What speakers did you go with?
Kickers in the doors and the sub. Here’s the links to everything I used.

No particular reason I picked out all kickers, I just used what Crutchfield recommend. The only thing I knew I would use going in was the sub, because I knew it would fit based on the Subwoofer thread.

The truck had a cheap Dual Touchscreen radio in it when I bought it. I’ll change that out at some point in the future, but for now it’s fine. And most importantly, no more hissing.

Orange tinted the fogs on my '06 LX and doubled up my LED bars on my '00 LX.

New to MUD and the 100 series. Did the first interior detail since owning (featuring a miriad of petrified french fries). Next up, identifying a small ingress of water to the passenger floorboard. Starting with cleaning the sunroof drains.
Regarding the sunroof drains, I found this cheap brush that fits and works perfectly. I think it will be a more thorough cleaning than the weed whacker line that is often recommended.

What started as a small thought, snowballed into a big project: I had some loose/bad powder coating on my trailer hitch that was allowing some corrosion to creep in. I decided to take the receiver hitch off and clean it up...then there were the two broken mounting bolts due to rust....then drilling, heating, soaking in penetrant, the multiple trips for more drill bits, the removal of the spare tire and rear bumper, the unsightly condition of the rear bumper structure pieces and the sanding, stripping, refinishing of those, the ordering of all new hardware for them and for the hitch mounting bolts, the tapping of all the holes, and then finally the reinstallation of the entire rear bumper assembly and the refreshed receiver hitch! My "it should just take an afternoon" estimate turned into 10 days and the virtual restoration of everything behind the rear axle.....that no one but me will ever see or notice! ;)

That has been every "small" job on my LX so far

New MAF sensor on our ‘04. After about 8 O2 sensor changes this, along with replacing the leaky air filter housing, appears to have fixed our p0430/0420 codes.

Also finally got the (already damaged by a couple incidents) trim a car wash tore off in February painted and remounted.

Complete fog light delete. I don’t think I’ve ever really needed them in the seven plus years of ownership. The KCs were OK but a bit Jeepy — for me, anyway. The stock ones were filled with water and mildew. So far I like the clean look. Hopefully a dense New England fog isn’t headed to GA anytime soon.
