Could be as simple as too much air in the tires?Do you experience any harshness going over small potholes or cracks ? I have C rated KO3s on my 100 , but I feel like they are alittle too stiff for Chicago streets .
Check this thread…I removed the ahc system and installled a Dobinsons IMS kit with 167 coils. Then had an alignment. The rear is way too high even with weight so I ordered the 233v coils and can’t wait to try them out. I am having an issue with the coils shifting a bit or binding on bumps and curbs etc. anyone else have this issue? I’ve triple checked that they are seated properly and against the stop on the bottom but even when I go under the truck and smack them they make a shifting sound. It’s pound when driving over bumps.
Thanks. I read this one yesterday. I’m going to lube everything up and see if that helps. I did order the 223v springs and will swap them in soon so hopefully those don’t have this issue too.Check this thread…
Did a quick search and didn't find anything except squeaks and rattles...
My rear springs make a nice loud "Ba-Doy-ing" noise on a hard bump. As if you were to hit the spring with a big stick... super odd. It's repeatable and consistent, if I back out of my drive way and both wheels drop off the round curb at once, BADOYING... any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Just for clarity were the torsion bars replaced since the AHC was removed ?I removed the ahc system and installled a Dobinsons IMS kit with 167 coils. Then had an alignment. So jelly on the front AND rear lockers with 80 Series magic dial. Someday...someday. Keep us informed on how you like that Harrop.Took a trip down to NC to see the guys East Coast Gear Supply. 4.88s and added a Eaton Harrop locker to the front.
Also had them install a new set of diff bushings from @cruiseroutfit and swapped the diff drop from a Trail Tailor to Slee while they were in there.
Only changed the diff drop so I can eventually grab Slee skids when I’m out in Colorado (no plans yet).
If anyone is in DC/Nova I have the Trail Tailor diff drop for sale.View attachment 4113382View attachment 4113383View attachment 4113384View attachment 4113385
