New front bearings, new rotors and brake pads on my 2005 Land Cruiser (256k miles). Discovered significant wear on the splines on both CV axles, worse on the passenger side. Ordered two new OEM assemblies and hub flanges and will tackle that next…..

Did you get the full "non-metal spray paint kit" or just the can of paint? I need to do my bumpers.
I got the non-metal spray paint kit. But I ended up using a little more than a can of paint for just the one side of molding, so I am awaiting another can.

After my 2nd replacement antenna broke, I installed a fixed antenna from the antenna source (through Amazon). Pretty easy install just time consuming as I had to dig out the antenna cord that broke off in the antenna motor housing. Also if you ever need replacement wheel well liner clips the ones from Amazon linked below work well.

Was this plug and play or did you have to modify the hole in the fender for this to fit?

I’ve owned my 100-Series since August 2021. I bought it from a very nice lady that was fastidious about maintenance. She was the second owner and owned it since 2003. Her daughter learned to drive in it and drove it to high school. She sold it to me, and I promised her first right of refusal if I ever sold it. In the meantime, she would text me and ask how “Landy” was doing. I’d keep her updated on maintenance, repairs, and any trips we’d take. Fast forward to this year and I checked in with her. One thing led to another, and I took “Lando” (as I now call it) to see her and her now college graduate daughter that was visiting from Texas. They drove him awhile and then invited me in for wine & snacks. They baked cookies for me and bought a box of treats for Moose (my Lab)! Cruiser Karma is real and they are happy that the 100 went to me. Great afternoon with the previous owners!!!

These are the kind of stories I like to read. Solid.

I got my ‘99 from a good friend, the original owner, who took incredible care of it. It’s always fun to see him light up for whatever new thing I do to it. Bruce, I thank you every day for handing it over!

He kept a folder which had every single invoice and receipt of any work done, even every oil change. I’m doing the same.

I love my 25yr old machine. My daughter wants it so bad.. Not yet, Dear.

Got a PN for that antenna?

~1,200 mile round trip to Big Bend Ranch for 3 nights of camping at a remote site. LX470 never missed a beat.

Nice! I love BBNP but had never been to the state park until a few weeks ago. Also the first road trip/off roading in the new 100. Bone stock with slightly larger than stock Michelin Defenders 😅

Removed the second row bench and slept in the back. Can't wait to return with some new toys ;)

You’re a regular Land Cruiser service center. Good job
Thorough AF. Hate to be that dude, but don’t overlook your spindle needle bearings and brass bushings. There’s a tool for greasing them. Inexpensive parts to replace if, like mine, yours are shot. Odd at 135,000 but they were never greased as far as I could tell.

Took it om Tuesday for valve cover gaskets and spark plugs to be replaced. Dealer called an hour later saying the CV boots were cracked. So had those done too. Nothing like a $3K repair bill for the holidays! That should be the last of the major maintenance stuff needs for another 100K.
