After last week's windscreen installer decided he wanted to avoid the task of fitting the mouldings/rivets, I had a windscreen guy visit who's been doing it for 40 years and has done plenty of these thankfully.

Nearly got rained off but I pulled the pop-up marquee out the garage and the rest is history!

Turns out all of the holes were bigger than factory which is why the factory rivets weren't fixing in place properly when I tried myself on the weekend (a bit of vindication for me!). The installer had to fit large rivets and use some appropriate grade sealant but they are all looking much better and it's now firmly in situ.

I'm hoping it's now watertight but I expect it will be which is a massive weight off my mind!

PS. there is a tiny bit of flaked paint along the upper lip of the windscreen area, this is being addressed, but underneath the windscreen itself all bits of rust were fully cleaned up and treated.

Hope it all goes okay - godspeed!

Nearly 4 weeks after placing my order for medium graphite metallic paint so I can color-match my Coastal bumpers to the lower trim, I'm still waiting for it to ship. But did order an XL roof top tent from Cascadia with their clearance sale and a Prinsu roof rack.

Finally got the torsion bars adjusted to get AHC pressure back down in specified range, but need to figure something out with the rear springs. Trying to find a place that will ship King Springs to the US (if you have a place that you've successfully ordered through, please PM me with a link). OEM AHC fluid arrived this weekend, hoping to get it flushed tonight or tomorrow night.

Diode dynamics light bar and new awning! Getting ready for wheeling trip at the end of the month. Also one sided rear drawer in progress.

Stared at mine through the window at where I have had it parked since July.
I'm just slammed with life right now. Had to jump it the last few times I needed to move it around the driveway, so battery is probably toast.

One benefit of it being parked is that it stopped leaking leaking oil everywhere....

Moab trip cut short by twisting apart the rear driveshaft AND grenading the spider gears on the front differential on the same obstacle! Got it back together enough to drive it back to Texas, and now the real repairs begin.

There is more to this story that NEEDS to be told.....how did you drive it back? No front diff and no rear driveshaft?

Pulled drive plates and front driveshaft off, installed a new rear driveshaft and then drove it 1,000+ miles back to Austin.

Did a few touches that I got from Cruiser Design and Manufacturing.

Installed the cupholders

The CruiserDM center and rear cyclone lights....all are top notch additions.

The KC Cyclone Lights have removable/interchangeable filters, so I can change any of them to blue, green, amber, clear, or diffused. I currently have the diffused on the rearmost and the two reading lights, with a red filter on the center-mounted "dome" light that illuminates when the door is opened.

IAbout an hour for everything.

Been having problems with AHC this year and after a flush that didn't change some of the behaviours, I decided to go analog and ordered the IronMan Foamcell with diff drop.
Pretty easy install, aside from the nightmare of removing the rear. Also, removing the accumulators and some of the lines was a pain.

Got an alignment and rides smooth. Not as plush as the AHC, but also haven't had it fully loaded with people or gear for any camping/bike trips

Ready to install

I am assuming it will settle and drop a little after some driving and load time. The rear is about 30mm higher than the vehicle was in H and the front is about 10mm.

One side bonus is that the Coastal Offroad sliders I purchased earlier this year will be straightforward in mounting with the accumulators off the frame rails now and I don't have to workaround them now.

How on Earth? Those are killer. Can't wait to see them on the truck.

Me too! I have the full set of 4 wheels and 4 caps. I am having them ceramic coated before the tires go on.

I've had a few private messages on the wheels so figured I would post here. Surprisingly these wheels and center caps are still available from the dealer:

Wheel Cap: 42603-60680 QTY:4
