Picked these frim FB market place locally for $1000. Not a big fan of rock warriors but gonna give a try. Came with almost new 285/70R17 KO2s. I'll keep it if I can get rid of spacers currently on.

Another use of the winch. A friend badly wanted to save a treet pulled out from ground a side during Beryl. Straighten it even though I don't know it'll survive.

Have you checked junkyards in your area? That might be the best solution for a more inexpensive direct replacement option.
Yes - one came up a couple of weeks back but when he got it out, it had 2 connectors, not the single one I'm looking for. I'm off work on Weds this week so I'll hit up a couple more and see if there's anything. TBH I'd be happy with a $50 repro if it just had the single connector. It's so frustrating to keep hitting up/down to get the windows to stay in desired position.

Finally finished raising the spare tire carrier and got the steelie spare that came with my Tundra rims mounted in place. The existing brackets were rusting away and I had to drill out three of the six bolts so as usual for anything underneath this truck, a 30 minute project turned into a few days. Also discovered a rust hole straight through a weld on the frame so I patched that up. Not the prettiest but it's stronger than a hole, so ...

It looks like my tow hitch is going to limit the size of a spare that I can pack under here. Not 100% sure an inch larger tire will fit so I might have to stick to 32s because that tow hitch sure ain't coming off.

Full front-end baseline has started:

OEM CV boot kits
OEM bearings, seals, & brakes
Sway bar bushings and end links
OEM shocks
555 upper control arms
555 lower ball joints.

yeah! also did that when I couldn't get rid of my front end rattle. New bushings, needle bearings, all parts cleaned/ etched/ painted with POR15, ... :-) took some time, but finally solved it and gives peace of mind.

Had to lose the factory front flaps when I went to new wheels and tires. Also hammered the pinch weld and reformed the wheel liner

The rokblokz front kit for 08-21 Tundras fits well with minimal mods. Drill two holes in each flap and hit with a heat gun. Eventually I’m going to modify the brackets for the factory front flaps and use those.

Caveat: I haven’t fully stuffed it yet

Jeez those wheels are gorgeous!

Hi folks,

You've probably seen my numerous posts but I'm 6 days into ownership and have already dealt with a lot of issues it seems!

- Windscreen is leaking due to damaged/missing mouldings and missing rivets
- Alarm going off randomly
- EML on after accelerating hard up a hill

What have I done this week?
- Introduced to Partsouq by another forum member, and ordered circa $600 equivalent of new mouldings, seals, rivets, as well as the strip that goes the length of the car under the roof bar (someone had cut it!?), hopefully all arriving this week.
- Locking the car via key until the windscreen is replaced and I can remedy any fusebox issues from leaking, that way I can rule out the alarm being caused by that.
- Scanned with Techstream, Turbo Charger issue supposedly, I think it's more likely a vacuum/boost leak somewhere as the turbo performs well without smoke or noise.

Thanks

replaced all door seals, moulding and trim. including the rear quarter panels - it made a huge difference!

My driver’s side door seals seems to have lost some of its spring. When driving on some not so even roads i can literally feel the door move. Im debating on getting new seals to see if that solves it

Also check the metal loop shaped thing on the body, where doors latches on to. It is known together loose

It seems to have helped a lot with my front doors

for me it would be part of baselining in case I'd have doors vibrating/ moving. Then check the hinges and see if bolts are loose, hinge and the part of the column are bent or so. And if all that doesn't fully solve it you might be able to move the hinge on the column slightly in.

Thanks. I check that and its tight. Checked the 3 bolts on the door itself and it tightened a little doubtful that’ll make a difference
