Yeah I was gonna say the biggest pain was removing the window controls. What I did was slightly pull it up from the front (front of car) and then you can see the metal pin underneath that holds it in place. You can then push that metal pin in with a flathead and it comes out easily.Love the picts! I do want to point out the spring clip at the under the front leading edge (on the pointy side pointing to the front of the car) in that window roll-down button panel is a bit of a pain. Use something flat to push it back and lift the panel up and out of the door panel. I broke one once, although I found a new spring clip to buy (Part #: 90468-05114).
Went with 285/70/17. Had a little issue with rubbing but fixed it by hammering down the pinch welds and trimming some plastic. Ive loved my KO2s, going on the 2nd set and still no issues. What size tires did you go with? That will be my next upgrade after my refurb and suspension work is done. BTW, I have KO2s on my 4Runner and they have performed and held up very well. I don't think you can go wrong with them.
Those look good, what’s the spec of those alphas?View attachment 3007701
Added @alphaequipt commands and some new KO2s. Pretty happy with how they turned out.
Appreciate it! 17x8.5 5x150 with +15mm offsetThose look good, what’s the spec of those alphas?
Ohhh man...
Edit: Oh btw - the 100 series would not be going anywhere if this happened. Some of us have dignity.
What’s your technique for easy removal of the speaker grills? I have one that is bare plastic that I’d like to recover.Today I replaced the speaker cloth… definitely not a fan of the color, I think I was way off when I ordered it. Luckily I found an easy way to get them out that doesn’t require taking the entire door card apart so I may paint or change it up later.

Really like that mount, did you make it yourself?Installed a fuse block and finally cleaned up the aux lighting electrical with room for future expansion.
